Your favourite sounding engines

What are your favourite sounding engines?

For me it is:

#1: The sound of a Ford Windsor V8 especially with solid lifters and a blower.
#2: Big Block V8's
#3: Formula 1 engines, I really crank the volume when I watch the races.

The engine sound I dislike most:

Domestic 4 cylinders found in the GM cars such as older Cavaliers, Grand Am's and Oldsmobiles. They sound like they're going to fall apart.

I love the sound of Ford V8's. I don't know why, but a Chevy V8 always sounds wimpy compared to a Ford.

Oh, but if you ever go to BB, there's a guy with a Firebird with the 455 SD engine. It sounds soo sweet.

I hate the sound of RX-7's. They sound like chainsaws.

I'm a fan of the exotic engine sound, Ferrari's and Porsche's etc.
I actually don't like the American muscle car grumble, I like a more refined sound, kinda like classical or rock music?

not including sounds i havent heard, the Ferrari 360 engine behind you is the only one i will give up car stereo for. the think i dont like porsche engines is that they sound like big trucks.

some other sounds i like:
- E46 M3 going above 4k rpm
- the mechanical sound of a supercharger
- flooring those V8s
