overall, shaw was faster though, as far as maximum download speeds. i prefer the slightly lower latency that comes with the DSL connection, though.

this is just my experience. YMMV.

I don;t knwo whats up with all of your guys's telus service man... Mines GREAT.. always around 200 kbps when downloading... It's nice and quick, always reliable, and i love the fact that we don;t have to pay for another outlet like you do with cable. Also it seems to not be affected by other users in your area, unlike cable.

As for the primer, please do not buy the stuff from lordco in the can... IF you choose to do you own bodywork please don;t expect it to last very long, and if you do your own bodywork buy the good materials.. go to a bodyshop and ask them what you should use. I know what you should use but i don;t feel like listing shit off for an hour... You remember what tory's crx looked like a few weeks after he had it done??? yeah don't expect much if you don't know exactly what your doing

sanding and priming of the vehicle is the MOST crucial part, if this is not done correctly no matter how good your paint job is it will still look bad, and as for primer the only reason why i was able to run primer for a summer was because i bought the good sealer/primer that is made for that purpose, if your buying the shitty shit in the can from lordco thats a spot prime, not designed to be ran on a vehicle for any length of time... Seriously.. look at how much it will cost you to prime the vehicle yourself with spraybombs and then get a quoye from a bodyshop, if you do all the sanding.. i bet you anything the bodyshop job will be like 40-50 bucks more tops, and then it is a finish that can be ran all year round and is water proof. not only that but it'll look good for alot longer unlike spray bomb gayness. Trust me on this one, save your cash, put your dank and willpower back in your pants and get it all done at once.. Only reason i ever did my own bodywork is because my dad owned a bodyshop for many years, our family is good friends with gordy, owner of boyds, and i have hung around White stag most of my life and worked there for 9 mos of my life.

thats not my .2 cents thats my .25 cents... wait and get it done right

Shaw cable is good for some and bad for others. Shaw's bandwidth limits are ridiculous and their abuse department blows ass. To get someone booted off shaw all it takes is some legal sounding e-mail. I'm not going to pay for a service from a company as stupid as that.

I use telus now.. they dont care about my transfers, and when some dick e-mails them saying they'll sue if i'm not booted offline they don't do anything. Hell this one time someone sent a complaint about files that I didnt even have on my server and telus just e-mailed me saying someone is complaining. I never liked telus, but their DSL service is amazing

hmm tips eh?? my best advise, if a car is rusty keep in mind that it is never really gone until either:

a) the infected metal is completely removed
b) the infected metal is thoroghroly(sp) cleaned with use of a sandblaster and then fully treated inside and out so it is fully sealed.

For primers and bonding agents and fillers and glues and such i cannot stress enough that the material must be clean and sanded for it to adhere properly. This is the main reason why fillers crack out of bodywork, it did not adhere properly. If you are trying to fill onto bare metal use a metal etching spot primer first, this makes it so that the material will stick. When removing dents a long board block sander will be your best tool for getting it straight again and finally, consult your local bodyshop. Don't even hesitate to go and ask questions. If your scared your asking too many questions hit up another bodyshop, there are tons around. As for my primer, i bought it through the bodyshop i deal with, not only did i get a killer deal on a good type of primer but they told me how to mix and use it, and what other materials/ bonding agents to use to do the bodywork before the primer. Like i said, become good friends with one of your local bodyshops, theyre called professionals for a reason..
