I was waiting for someone to say that lol. it's a class I really dont' wanna take and don't plan on going anywhere with it (business journalism), and he seems like an easy marker/tester....so yeah...the less I get of that class the better  |

it's still the one I got a month ago...but I like to push it 'till the very last possible day of dispute (today). This way I won't get 6 points w/in the same period (you're guilty when convicted, not when you commit the offence), and it gives me more time to come up w/ the cash  um....and there's always the chance that he won't show | |

They have always shown for my disputes (I've had 3). And you'll be kicking yourself when you get more points at the end of the period and wish you had dealt with these ones earlier. :P

i think he means hes had 3 within the last year and doesnt want another 3, meaning 6 within the same period, meaning he will have to pay for them. you get 3 free per 'year'.
the only ticket ive ever disputed the officer didnt show. but i woulda won it anyway.
the way i see it, the only ticket ill ever dispute is if i honestly believe i dont deserve it. if i know i was speeding, even if i wasnt speeding on purpose, i wont dispute it. you screwed up, now deal with it.

oh and I know it's illegal and all that stuff...my license is changed and they usually don't give a rat's ass (especially not tickets) for the addy being wrong on the papers | |

And I've had disputes where they didn't show and if they do I've always managed to talk them down to the least possible fine and some time to pay | |

| nah....2 3 pointers (one was doing 123 in an 80 the other was doing 125 in an 80 ). One from last Sept that I bumped that went through in July, I think. And then one again from this August that I'm bumping again....

Troy: what he means is that insurance for the same person w/ the same car is actually cheaper in Vic than Kamloops. As far as I know the Island has BC's lowest insurance rates | |

Got a day permit today for a little screwing around. Towards the end of the night with a water covered parking lot, im-maturity decided to kick in. I was trying to learn awd drifts! Took a little getting used to since the backend wouldnt slid out, but once the turbo spiked 14pounds in 2nd, she slid out like a motherfucker.
On a side note, we saw a accident happen right infront of us on our way back from Lumby. Out infront of woods lack just passed thay big brick/cement wall... This chick a few car lengths infront of us hydroplaned and spun 3 times, hit the ditch and rolled another 2 before coming to a stop in a soft pile of dirt upside-down. She had just missed the the cement wall, and stopped just before these cement barriers. I was thinking to myself "oh fuck"... We drove right up to where she was and I jumped out of the moving car and ran towards the car noticing smashed glass everywhere, the roof was caved in, fenders dented... basically a complete write off... I opened the door and she said she was alright. Helped her out and she was fine, not a single scratch or bruise. My buddy called the police and they (8 units) arrived within about 8 minutes.
