Has anyone else spotted the Jedi walking around town? Is he a Kelowna regular? Black cloak, utility belt, greasy ponytail, mid-30's, neckbeard, etc. Looks kinda like this, but no lightsaber (yet):

I saw him walking down Harvey earlier this week, then yesterday I spotted him going into the goddamn WalMart. Crazy people seem even more crazy when they do normal things...

he has a lightsaber on his utility belt. i saw him in walmart last year in december, he had picked to much stuff up and it didnt all fit in his basket so he was sliding a 2.0 of seven-up along the floor i wanted to ask him why he didnt just use the force to carry it all, but he looked to be too crazy to mess around with

I've seen some guy walking around in a white cloak. I wonder if it's the same guy/different outfit, or his arch nemisis???

Was in my first ever accident today.

Rear ended at 50kmh at a red light and slammed into the vehicle in front of me.

I wasn't wearing a seatbelt(not required) and had my body wrapped around the steering wheel.

Painful.

that's pretty stupid of you.
required or not, wearing a seatbelt is life insurance for you. Would you like to go flying out the windsheild next time it happens and have your body run over by passing motorists?

If you knew the job you would understand, not to mention my passenger was worse off because of her seatbelt.

Lets just say with my job there is more odds of someone using the seatbelt to strangle me and rob me as there is to me being in an accident where it will actually help. Not to mention we are always in and out of the vehicles helping people.

The odds of me being ejected at speeds under 65kmh is slim to none.

Theres a reason why paramedics, taxi drivers, and courier drivers don't wear seatbelts in town.

*edit* I guess when i said my head hit the windshield, I should have said bumped.

oh don't worry... it won't be 'jedi' persay.. it might be 'anakin' or 'obi-wan' or perhaps 'yoda' if he's feeling pretentious... if it was me i'd name him 'mace' after mace windu (played by the most badass man on the face of the earth, Samuel L Jackson)

Thats a very lame excuse! My job is delivering truck parts all day, im in and out most likely more than you are, its not hard to put on a seat belt every time, however i learnt the hard way, by not wearing one properly and being slammed into the dash of a car. Hopefully you will learn before you get seriously hurt because of stupid reasoning...imo

For 12 hours a day to drive a couple blocks before getting out again?

Not to mention in this speed limit impact im grateful i wasn't wearing a seatbelt, as it is the reason I am not still in the hospital like my passenger.

The company I work for has 15 cars constantly driving around, on the rare occasion (considering how much we are on the road) we are in an accident, they are never wearing a seatbelt, and no driver has had anything more than stiffness(even t-boned). The only time that someone had been hurt is when the driver came off the bypass (70kmh limit... so wearing seatbelt), and then was hit by someone running a red light in the 50 kmh zone on fairview.

One more point, I think it proves something when in every circumstance since I've worked here, the passenger has had worse injuries than the driver(in most cases from the seatbelt).

BTW. I feel awesome today.

The passengers will always end up in rougher shape from a crash, they don't have both thier hands holding onto a solid wheel, ready to brace themselves.
