if you are not familiar with it, look at the employment standards act. If they mis-treated you in any way according to that book, it may just be in your favour.

Tough Paul. I'd argue this with the labour board. If you want to work there or not, I'd still fight it. They cant fire you without other written notices. I think you're allowed 2 or 3... Have you been written up for anything else?

Was at the wreckers and a broken hood fell off its hinge and caught my hand. Ripped it open pretty deep, took quite awile for it to stop bleeding so I could wash up and put gauz on it.

They conduct business in an "interesting" way which doesn't end up being in the employee's greater interest but it does appear to be legit.
I don't think the GM really knew what my job involved so when he assumed i was taking one hour smoke breaks, I was actually in the datacenter. I was accused of taking a 3 hour lunch once simply because I went into the datacenter to work after grabbing food instead of going to my desk. This is how the company works, and quite honestly I'm very happy to no longer work there. They made promises and never kept them, screwed around with how they issue vacation pay, and the level of communication is hilarious. Management will never confront you if you make a mistake, they will ask every other employee in the company for their theories and opinions and then base decisions on that. This is essentially what ended up happening to me.

HOLY FUCK!
So I got to my first day of college today and I am sitting in my class room. Anyways, I hear this rumble. Sounds like a subaru and it is just being revved to shit. Then I'm like shit, is my car on or whats happening. So I check my compustar and everything is okay. So ten minutes later my class is over, I go out to the parking lot and who do I see.....
non other then kai fag. His super ralled out sti chilling in the parking lot sticking out like a soar thumb. So I guess he was showing some saweet college ladies is ride... :|

so after the cac nationals an out of town competitors car and trailer got jacked along with a bunch of other peoples tools. super nice guy as well
Title: Race Car/Truck/open flat deck trailer stolen!

Early Monday morning (Sept. 3rd), a truck/trailer/and race prep'd vehicle were stolen from the Maple Ridge Best Western.
Grey truck: 1991 Dodge Cummings Diesel, licence plate (similar truck pictured): Alberta VXE-444
2000 Green Miata (all stickers are still on, but may have been removed), licence plate: BYM-559
Flat deck trailer, licence plate: V74643
A number of toolboxes/tools were also stolen (Red Craftsman metal tool chest with rolling drawers, Black locking tool chest with grey top (large plastic type that sits in the back of the truck). The majority of the tools were craftsman, but there were a number of other brands as well. A number of wheels with 275/35 hoosier tires installed (2 steel diamond racing wheels, and 4 Kodiaks).
The car was modified with a supercharger, and a large number of miata specific parts, including a very rare and custom intake manifold and custom fuel rail. The supercharger and most of the parts have BRP laser cut into them (also fairly rare). The wheels on the car were 15x10.5 Kodiaks (pictured). I believe that the car was last spotted by RCMP in the Mission area, but police were unable apprehend them.
