yeah, the range is nuts... I can start my car from blocks away. In a cement apartment building a long ways away? no problem. I love it, except mines too sensitive.

^ that colin is a tom sized turbo, because tom is actually a little bit nuts.

my mods of last night were a weighted skunk2 shift nob, and yellow highbeams. never thought a shift knob would be so cool, but im a ricer, and the yellow 80watts put more light on the road than my old rainbow colored 100 watts. also picked up my goodies from van for my little project

which gt30r were u running before tommy? i am probably gonna go with a 0.82 30r on my jdm sti motor. when were u hitting full boost? i got the 6 speed with the 8200 redline so its not as much of a concern with those extra rpms. still a 2.0 though...

just picked up an invidia n1 raceback today to go with my invidia v2 downpipe... should be nice!!

sound clip!

jeffh: Good chocie on the shift knob. I run the same one and it's nice and HEAVY. Very nice piece.

mannslayer: I was running the smaller GT30R with the .63 A/R turbine. I was hitting full boost at an average of 4800-5000 in 3rd gear at 20psi. When I was boosting 30psi it took about 5200rpm. This is on my 2.0L GSR bottom end as well. Holding 30psi and making power right up to redline, past 9000rpm

i figured you were revving pretty high, the usdm sti redline is only 7000 so i feel lucky to have those extra rpms with the jdm motor, thats partly why i am thinking about going with a bigger turbo.

perhaps you should learn how to check the fluid level before servicing it?

poured in some washer fluid today, having none sucked big-time yesterday.

Sounds like its auto. Should be a dipstick. How did you fill it with fluid again?

There is a 'dipstick' ontop of the tranny, but its for filling... not checking. Its more of a "oil cap" than anything. No rod that goes into the tranny... Sealed transmission perhapes? Factory specs is 9.5quarts, but thats including whats inside of the torque converter etc... Dosnt do us any good when we just dropt the pan. Guess we'll get the dealer to check it out next week sometime.
