Ahh yeah. Buddy with a 91 civic had a problem with his ignition.. turns out the rotor was partially broken and it was arcing all over the place and not producing proper spark. It *should* be the first thing to check but I wouldn't have checked right away.

Back on topic, rebuilding the carb for the datsun tonight, then flushing all the fluids out on account of rain water getting into the engine... argh

Got my car runnin properly today, had to replace the starter. exspensive sons of bitches. Now i need new tie rods cuz the tow truck driver is a retard and i'm back to good.

Rear calipers are evading me.

mod of today... Tearing my interior apart to TRY and dis-connect my J&S ignition controller. I think it is giving me problems, and with my water injection now... I never have it turned on anyways.

Other places have speed limits, we have a 25 psi minimum.

Installed a base-model tranny. Another waste of 3.5hrs. Shitty that the differential is weaker than the turbo'd models... gotta work with what I've got tho.

painted valve covers as well as port/polish/3 angle + radiusing valve job heads, cleaned and polished lower intake, old style fuel injector rails with SARD 550cc ihigh impedance injectors.

just gotta figure out the timing belt and the engine will be ready to put back into the car.

higgins it looks pretty good man, those injectors seem pretty huge, i am sensing a turbo. is there no pcv??

the PCV is blocked off on the plenum, i was tired of it spewing oil into my intake... the breather filters are a temp fix until i can rig up an oil catch can system.

i'm waiting to install the turbo manifold for a few reasons.. 1. it needs a wastegate pipe and flange welded into it. 2. the pass. side manifold needs the EGR port welded shut before i can put it back on there as well...

as for where the turbo actually is, it's sitting on my shelf with the oil feed and drain stuff installed on it already. patiently waiting to be installed.

so if someone's got a welder and a free hour or so, it'd be awesome if they could help me out!
