Well I think that Ikkaku had to use Bankai because in the real world Shinigami's full power are capped (to 10%? Forgot gotta rewatch/read that part). Otherwise he might have been able to beat the arrancar.
Stupid fillers though =[ I want to see the next fights. XD

ikkaku couldn't win against ichigo when they're both in bankai mode. can't cut what you cant see.
but i do think renji's bankai is weaksauce, along with that creepy scientist captain (can't remember his name)

^ lol. agreed. DBZ is good but daaamn the super saiyans power levels are way over the top compared to everyone else. I thought SSJ3 and 4 were lame.

But the cool factor isnt that great imo because he only becomes alot faster and abit more poweful, however I still like the giant sword better | |
