with the minimum lift, your centre of gravity is lower, and it feels much less sketchy when the truck has a wheel in the air or is teetering, or is leaning to one side...
lockers ftw... my buddys bone stock 4runner with the factory E-locker in the back out wheels most jeeps with 35" mud tires, big lift and open diffs...

again thank you for all the input , yea i figure 4 inch will be enuff prob the right hight to clear the 33's i dont want to go to big i just want it to look right you know ?? , as for the lockers .. maybe ill look into them before i do anything, may long i seem to have some free time so im going to change all the fluids and oils , and locate all the grease spots and lub them up . where is a good place to get lockers from for a good price ? as for tools yea im starting to get stuff to gether for when i do go out " camping " and small solo trips , never know what you can get yourself into, CB radio. on it , that would be fun to have , ill try and post up some pics of my jeep after work tomorrow . today, i just look off the side steps and crappy mud flaps .... made a huge difference in the look of the jeep already... as for intake and exhaust looks like i can get a decent hook up from work with a cold air intake from K&N and a nice megnaflow cat back. should all be some fun once its done. |

you dont necessarily need a front one. if you have IFS a front one isnt really recommended although you can do it.
a rear one is a definitely a plus.
i'd go with rear locker, lift and tires for now. thats probably all you need to get your ass out of the most extreme situations that dont require winching.

No no the driveshaft binds somewhere when the suspension travels down and blows out u-joint cups and c clips. I'm sick of fixing it on the trail but I think it's fixed

Yeah I clearanced the shit out of it before I started welding (square tube) but it wasn't enough. I managed to fit a carbide grinding bit into the cv to clearnance it even more so I'll see if it blows apart. What time are you heading to triangle, I might see you there
