Enraged & Paradox: It doesn't look like the server is set up to serve *.htm files properly - I get prompted to download the file rather the page show up. Maybe rename it to Index.html?

Someone broke in and tried to steal it
Smashed my window, stole my deck, and mangled my ignition. There's a link to the thread in my last post.

Weird, the link works fine now - Looks good! I love gray backgrounds

Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi. I just registered for RS, been reading for a while though. I recognize some guys from other forums, but just wanted to say hi, and make the presence of one more supra owner known.
Oh yeah, sucks about the break-in SilverMK3. I think I have seen your car in the Country Club lot before on the side (supra is parked for winter, I go by there everyday on the bus to Malaspina). Bastards better not touch my car, I guess I should move it off the side of the road. Did your anti-theft dealy work at all? I remember mine went off one time when I first got the car, I was waxing it and had tunes on, door was locked for some reason, I tried reaching in to unlock it so I could change CDs (too lazy to get my keys outta my pocket) and it started honking and shit. Scared the hell outta me, I didn't know I even had that option.
Anways though... crappy about the bad luck, I hope everything goes ok with insurance - I'm just tired so I babble on about stupid shit. So to sum it up, just wanna say hi to everyone and too bad about the car!
bed time....

I have an 87 turbo. No mods except for an updated stereo. I replaced the catback the week I got the car, didn't know much about the exhaust, and so I just went with stock, should have spent the extra 100 bucks and got 3 inch but oh well I guess. I am going to school now and not working down here, so I am too broke to mod and any extra money I have goes towards plane tickets to see my gf. Priorities suck right now, but one day I hope I'll have some money to spend on the car! Maybe this summer

Hey Silver Mk3.
My supra is burgundy. It's one of the only ones I've seen around here. Plus mine's an 87 with a glass sunroof, so I don't think you could get it confused with another one.
I'm bussing it too, don't have a job, and I am running out of money. I figured all I do is drive to school and back, usually other people drive when I go out on weekends, cuz I don't know downtown area very good anyways. Might as well take the bus -for the winter at least.
I wanna take the chance also to replace my clutch master cylinder and rewire my knock sensors. Stupid thing is that my glove box is locked, I can't unlock it. So I can't get to the KS wires to redo it. I gotta find a new grey glove box first, so I can destroy the one I have now. Anyone got one?
I got a TPS code the last time I looked too. I don't know how to check/adjust that though. Hopefully I will get a job after I get back from Christmas holidays and the car will be back on the road. Then maybe if I have extra money I'm gonna try to go intake, 3 inch dp/cutout and a boost gauge and raise it up a little bit. I gotta make sure everything else is tip top before that though.
Everything costs money, and money is something I don't have

dont listen to ryan, cutouts are for more than people that have to run cats. im probably going to be getting one soon (theres a group buy goin on right now). flip a switch, and your running open downpipe, which gives better spool and more top end... but ryan wont agree, will you ryan? haha

Hey. Yeah I know that there's no real gain of a cutout with a 3inch exhaust and elbow. But I'd rather have the option to open and close it as I see fit. Plus from what I have heard, it might help with faster spool? I also like the idea of other people who think the car is stock, therefore slow (dumbasses) becuase "it doesn't even have exhaust man..." My plan is to either get the dp+elbow from Becauseican if I have money, or else I will make my own this summer when I go back home. I saw the groupbuy on SM, but I just don't have money for it right now, don't have money for anything, can't even drive the supe right now.
Nashman, I know the knock sensors are accessible through the motor, but I was planning on replacing the wire all the way to the control box, which I was pretty sure is on the passenger side behind the glovebox. I remember seeing some shit back there when I ran the power cable for my stereo too I think. If I am wrong, please correct me - as it may give me the needed motivation to get them rewired and get things running right.

PS - How did you get the glovvie off without unlocking it. I have tried everything short of drilling a hole in it so I can get it out of there. Which was my next resort if I could find a replacement. It's been driving me nuts!!

being a turbo car, thats not possible... closest you get is open turbo, and then it spits exhaust and flames directly at your firewall.... but thanks for the idea!
