Hey guys, if you know anyone thinking of buying, let me know. I'm going to be going away the end of august. I'd rather get rid of it than have it sit for another year. Probably going to ask around 4500, but I'd let it go for $3500 just to get it gone ASAP.

If anyone is interested, shoot me an email. I'll probably list it tomorrow. Running really good last time I drove it (last summer!!), new clutch and top end, head studs, valve job, tires etc within the last 1000 miles. Exhaust, intake, hardpipes, suspension all have low mileage... mildly modded. Most of you know the details. Needs a little minor body work on the front end (I have an 89+ front bumper sitting in my garage down here) and maybe a brake job sooner than later, that's all I can think of ATM, but it's probably been 6 months since I last even looked at it.

Because, sir, you own a supra.

Your VSV could be dying? (I have one spare, i actually have a whole slew of parts). Other than that... the only thing i can really thinking of is a leaky heater core. And I don't believe you're leaking coolant are you.

where is the VSV and what is it...
how much for your turbo swap there alex

its fucked it was doing this before.. like i wouldnt get heat out of it.. and i would crank it down to 18.. then back up to 32 and it would work... then it would only work if i shut off the engine.. now just cold all the time, although it did feel like it heated up a little...

heh u was pullin into fairways oak bay today and some old guy was eyein my car, i went into the store and started shopping and he walked up to me and said, "turbo? targa?" haha then shooted the shit for 10 mins, turns out he bout a new supra turbo in 91 for around 45k, and immediately took it up to the road to lake cowichan and opened her up, but a few years ago he got a divorce with his wife and she sold it for next to nothing. He still sounded pretty pissed about it, which i then told him he can have mine for 4500 lol

Something in my drive line is making alot of noise too, there's alot of play in it, im thinking it could be my upper control arm bushings I noticed a bit of play when I jacked the car up. No leaks from the rear end, usually it would be leaking by now if it was the crush sleeve/bearing, My car has the LSD and its working great.

BTW Enraged, the exhaust I bought off you sounds pretty crazy on an N/A, been running it for a month now I guess. Think I might try it without the test pipe, its really raspy, lost a bit of low end torque but gained a ton of top end.

it's rare for the upper to do that but it does happen

other cause is ball joints easy to cheak

jack up one side front wheel place on block of wood or some thign less higher then jack stand

place bord under the wheel place block of wood under the the bord you just put down step on bord see if wheel has play up and down if so ball joint is dead

this wonte show sized ball joint thou to fin that out you will have to take the ball joint off sized ones will cause some wacky noise the loose one not so muhc but you have slop in you drive line

as for bushing it usely the lower bushings not the uppers

cheers ryan

ya Nash you should head over and take this stuff I'm sick of storing it and nobody wants it. It's costing me too much in storage. I came by your place around 11 pm friday night but no action going on at the ranch. I was out at sooke fishing.
