Aack! A newbie, GET HIM!

Side skirts? Try http://www.bomexaero.com. Lowering springs? Jeff at http://www.suprasport.com can order them for you. Suprasport also just brought out their own short shifter, but you can actually hack the stock one in half (see http://www.supras.com/sogi/techtips/...ift/index.html )

helping a n00b? lame.

hehe welcome. if you get springs, get shocks as well. if you use your stock shocks, they will be toast in a short time.

the biggest thing to think of is how much money do you want to spend and such

i find the best setup for handling is Eibach pro springs/and st sway bars

but if you want lower look get h&r but the Eibach tend to handle better i find

as for tire wheel size what ever float you boat but 25 is abpout the biggest you can get i herd you can get bigger but i whould never go that big

as for short shift far as i know there was 2 but the only one that is out there is the c's short shift 20 % less throw (just cut the stocker

as for body kit's type of stuff there alot out there man i not much kit man my self but ther is some i liek like the front lip that bomrex mades and the bomrex side skrits and that neat back end peac that i have nto clue who maks i like the brack wing the way ti is well kinda i

i don't really look caues i am not kit man

if you need any more info on supra just ask one of will know

oh yae wecome to our thread

I am driving a black Supra with a 5 star rims.......nothing special at all.
The first thing i really want to do is lower my car......I went to SHC today and charge me 400 for one set of Eibach spring + 150 install.......its drop about 1 inch

whens the next autox? i knew it wasnt today...

welcome, Scottietang. always good to see another supra owner on the forum how long have you had it for?

my suggestions for lowering the car would be to go with H&R springs and Koni Yellow struts. both can be purchased from suprasport.com or im sure SHC can get them in too. eibachs are good but they dont drop the car enough if you have bigger (17"+) wheels. they also dont look as cool (sorry ryan.. hehe)

as for a body kit, or side skirts. id wait til you have some more power under the hood to match the looks... for the price of sideskirts + install + painting you could really have some fun with the engine. ie; downpipe, 3" catback, manaul boost controller.

if you want a downpipe, i can hook you up with a deal. a freind of mien will be releasing a onepeice turbo-back downpipe, 304 stainless steel. email me if your interested, i can get you a price below retail.

mine is coming end of august i hope....

as for bodykit, if its what you like, go for it. i like the bomex kit myself, but the front bumper has to be modified to get that 87/88 style bumper however, front bumper +sideskirts + rear bumper + wing + paint/labor, you can hit around 400 rwhp. it just all depends on what you want. supras have enough power stock to keep stock 5.0Ls at bay, as well as most hondas and such, so if you want looks, go for it. me, id rather have a bit more go before the show.

one question for all of you, what are you saving for/planning to buy next? im puttin money aside for springs and shocks, then for rims and rubber.

you can put in larger speakers with 6.5" 91+ speaker mounts, i think Enraged is doing the same thing if you're interested.

if you get some high quality 4 1/4"s they sound pretty damn good even with alot of bass behind ya. supra's have good acoustics, must be the 75lbs of sound detoning
