That is a good deal, mine were almost a grand when they first came out 3 years ago.

Good tire, just don't expect much from them in the rain, nor last longer than 40,000k

Ugh... kitchen renos suck... the wife started sanding the cupboards Friday morning, we're maybe a third done now. 2 coats of "good" primer and 3 coats of Behr Kitchen paint... very happy with the results at least. Hopefully be completely finished other than new counters in the next month or so (new tile floors, paint the ceiling).

You weren't kidding, we do have nearly identical cupboards. I'm digging the white, looks great.

Nice change from the brown.. I am going to have to re-do my kitchen this winter too..
Gonna have to gut it, the old particle board cabinets are falling apart. The previous owner put new cupboard doors on but that only works for so long.

You lucky bastards with your easy ass kitchen reno's. My house is 100 years old with many "modifications" done to it over time. I'm reno'ing the kitchen now. Between the asbestos filled Vermiculite falling through the roof, the lead laden plaster on the walls (tore it all out), and the asbestos filled old as hell vinyl tiles stuck to the floor (which I removed with a very hot steamy iron and MANY MANY HOURS of the most awful labour you can imagine[just put in 10 hours today]), I am just about ready to freaking kill someone.
My kitchen better be a hundred times better.

Kind of a waste of nice oak cupboards IMO, I would have gone with a dark granite or slate counter top and a repaint. White reminds me of apartments.
But good work all the same, it does look like new!

As a seasonal allergy sufferer I frequently find myself reaching for the closest box of tissues.
I have been working on-call with a store and it gets kinda dusty which in turn aggravates my allergies.
I'd really like to have been the fly on the wall at the Puffs tissue corp's boardroom when the marketing execs decided to "infuse the tissues with soothing, moisturizing lotion that turns into a soupy mess when activated by snot, that in turn gets on your fingers and smears all over evertyhing you touch afterwards"
They must have had fun with that one |

Oh I feel your pain. I hate it more then anything when I am doing it. The weird part is, its like a sunburn. You forget how much you hate it when you don't have one but once you get one the memories come flooding back. I feel that way about painting. At first I am all for it but after about 20mins I want to leave it alone and wished I never started.
