I seen a black civic with a el front end for sale on Craigslist few years ago. Didn't look good though.

Seen a few JDM cars come over with front end conversions....every one I took a look at had the front end swapped due to a front end accident....being that its a JDM import they may or may not declare it when doing the export.

CTR stock front end is way nicer IMO

Talked with the original guy who imported it a couple months ago at a red light. Front end wasn't painted yet, and he was telling me he paid under $3g for the car at the japan auction because it was high k/rough shape.

Spoiler!

Although the car itself is not HOS shame worthy, that wheel/tire/suspension set up is.

It looks completely fucking stupid.

^ Couldn't agree more. All it does it dial in even MORE understeer, which FWD already has more than enough...

Good feeling it was never meant to be a practical adjustment to the car. I'll never get this over camber trend. Doesn't look good and it completely lacks a purpose besides appearance, definition of rice right there, even though the rest of the car looks dope.

....because daily driving is a ongoing circuit race ..why the fuck would you worry about under/over steer if your driving to and from work at a normal rate of speed everyday. Staggered on FWD looks amazing. I've had staggered set up on all my FWD cars and i could never tell the difference as i drive normal.

Not to mention the whole tire streching bullshit. It's just flat out retarded.

I know why guys do it, and hey... it's their car, go nuts.

I'll stop before I really start pissing people off lol

I'm all for a nice flush fitment, but when there is that much poke (like the TL you posted) it looks rediculous.

What makes it even worse, is that a lot of these guys are doing this with very expensive wheels with custom offsets, not to mention the money their dropping on suspension, alignments, and fender work.

But, to each their own.

Lol, you cheeky cunt!

I'd like to think I know the do's and don't's, but like I've said countless times over the years, everyone is different. If that's what makes you happy, so be it.

I'm just voicing my opinion that some of the extreme wheel/tire setups you see, are over the top and look rediculous.

I WILL say, I do admire the time and effort it takes to get these wheel setups to work. It's definitely not a simple process.
