To be honest who cares if these guys are wearing fakes. They may make a statement to people who pass them by, or do not know them well, but that is it. I personally (and many other people) have no interest in making friends with people who wear fakes, especially watches. And it is pretty easy to tell whether a man has earned the status from the watch, or if he has bought a fake one (by the way the person talks).

A watch is part of who a man is. You can tell a lot about someone by the watch they wear. So the people who truly wear a fake like its real.. Well.. You get the story.

sorry if this i don't make friends cause they wear fakes, there will be a lot of girls that I wouldn't be friends with in high school.

there are so many girls with fake boobs, fake purses etc... but i wont' judge them cause of that. there are tons of guys with a real rolex but would carry a fake LV wallet / belt / fake nike shoes...etc...

I disagree with the "not being friends" with people who wear fakes. Everyones different.
But at the same time, you can already tell what their persona is like.

If they cant afford the authentic but wear a fake - instead of buying something authentic in their price range, they just go for the fake for show.
If they can afford the authentic but still wear fakes, imo still as bad as not being able to afford it and wearing the fake.
Given the chance, these people would probably drive a gutted Lamborghini with a 2L engine.

I have much more respect for the guy who wears an authentic Seiko that's in his budget, or a Rolex Sub that he saved up for.

Fortis watches are really nice. Very understated watches oriented towards aviation. Rodeo in Oakridge used to carry them.

I have had a Lumzilla for over a year now that I am wearing daily. Their build quality is excellent.

I've always been on the fence about Bell&Ross.
I actually really like their styling and case quality.. But the movement is just a stock, off-the-shelf $50 ETA that they charge ~$4500 for.

Good looking watches? Yes.
Is the casing worth over $4k? Not so much.

I'd be willing to pay no more than $500 for one.
