Who here has ordered from the Christopher Ward website? I'm looking into a C60 off their website but am afraid of additional duties if I have them ship to my house. Should I have them send it over to Point Roberts to potentially avoid that?

For those that don't know already, Rolex released a brand new model for their collection - the Sky-Dweller. I'll let the photos and article speak for itself: Introducing The Rolex Sky-Dweller: A Dual Timezone, Annual Calendar From Rolex, For Real (Live Photos) — HODINKEE - Wristwatch News, Reviews, & Original Stories

Thoughts on it?

I got an older watch passed down from my granddad, the brand name on it is Tugaris. I have read that it was popular back in I believe the 1960's-1980's in Asia. Anyone have any background information or history on this company? I am just curious, I am a bit of a history junkie.

There is some discoloration and was wondering if anyone knew of a good watch restoration place to help me with this piece. Regardless of the brand and what the watch is worth, I would like quality work done on this piece, as it is a heirloom.

Not a fan of the sky dweller... I am a fan of Yachtmaster II in yellow gold though Perfect weekend beach watch, not an everyday wear watch.

Does anyone know if the merchandise on Jomashop and other online watch retailers are 100% legit and real merchandise?

^Jomashop is legit (from my understanding... speaking from personal exp. too) but they're a gray market seller.

Yup, great watches. Get one that's suitable for daily wear, as it runs off light.

I've heard about them stopping or needing a replacement of parts after 4-5 years.

Have you owned one?

Yup I bought one about 4 or 5 years ago. I gave it to my brother, it's still running perfect

Just picked up a Movado Museum Quartz with the leather strap for a dress watch, tired of wearing my "every day" watch now that I wear dress shirts to work.

My everyday watch, the venerable Tissot PRC200.

Stoked!!

Haha, my watches come and go fast.
The one I had wasn't the "true" Marine Master and it was sold a while back anyway....
Still working on thinning down to handful of watches.
