2 of my everyday watch run out of battery and I always forget to bring it to the mall to replace the battery so I bought one of those $10 watches.

i bought this when it first came out in the diving magazine 3 years ago. I love it. the only thing is that i don't dive that much (since i have other diving watches to rotate) i don't find it too useful. and the chorograph ain't as easy to read since the 1 minute mark ain't perfect at 12.
overall, i love the color but i wished it was a bit bigger, all of my citizen watches are way bigger than this.

where would you guys recommend purchasing a swiss watch in the $1,000-$4,000 range? Do any of the local stores ever have discounts?

Do it! If you have a decent sized forearm, the seadweller is the way to go.

That is a pretty watch. I officially like leather straps more than metal.
I wear my Tissot more than my Rolex

Breitlings I don't really care much for, personally. And all those brands have their few prestigious models as well as their cheap pretty-on-the-outside models, so just naming the brands isn't saying much. In the end, get what YOU like. You'll never go wrong.

I'm here to help, but if you're gonna fork out $4k+ on a watch, I suggest you read up on the watches yourself. That way you know exactly what your money is going into, rather than buying what other people "say" are good watches.

Yeah.. I just ordered a leather strap for my Rolex Sub. Hopefully that'll make me wanna wear it more.

thanks for the suggestion. I've already been reading up on different brands and doing some research on different models that I like.

I'm definitely not getting one that other people say are good, but I'm a noob and always like to hear what other more knowledgeable people recommend. What do you think are good brands/models in that price range? I'm pretty set on getting a swiss automatic
