The hotpot on joyce is pretty good. Its right under the skytrain where the netcafé use to be.

sun tung kee in richmond is good.
across from grand buffet on alexandra.

18 bucks per person.

there's that chubby lamb place on alexandria in richmond.

btw, anyone know why there's an off topic here to talk about this stuff when there's a food and dining section as well?

yeah chubby lamb is AYCE and it's not bad......better then sung tung kee IMO.


DO NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT try Duke's Palace. That place is the BIGGEST scam. It's in Richmond, upstairs at central plaze I think. They will only serve you two half ass rounds, then completely ignore you, and you keep ordering, and they keep ignoring. Everyone looks pissed off there. Fucking horrible. I'm not the type to order way too much and stuff myself silly, so if I'm not content there definately wasn't enough food and it was expensive.

Just don't go to Golden Bull on Alexandra, that's one crappy dirty place.

The VIC side and VLS side are seperate.

Garden city hotpot in richmond - garden city and cambie area. Freshest food ever - and excellent seafood. A little pricy compared to some, but worth it if you want good quality.

Funny how you forget the tech forums. Which we frequently move stuff to. Like this one is cruising over to VLS.

+1 for chubby lamp... it's like right accross from golden awads... it's pretty good(food wise) and pice is fair.. ~18bucks/perons if i remember right... plus it's like add $1 for all u can drink pop too...

and there's another place. forgot the name but it's on garden city and right underneath Green Element. that one's pretty clean and a bit higher class than all the other places i've been to.

I think I went to Duke's Palace 2-3 months ago for a friend's bday and it wasn't bad. I think this is the same chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor in the little plaza area beside Aberdeen.
