it taste so good. | You can just buy the Japanese mayo from TNT and mix in wasabi to taste. It is pretty easy to do and doesn't require cooking.

Maybe I'll take a trip down there tomorrow and see if they're there to try one =) | They're usually gone by around 8pm. It varys. When the fireworks go on, they're there till pretty late.

| Many want hot dog vendors to stay despite proposal for healthier food options
Click here to find out more!
Thursday, March 06 - 06:40:00 AM Mike Lloyd/Province
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's not the healthiest meal around but they sure are tasty! News1130 is on the street, grilling you about a proposal in Vancouver that could spell the death of the traditional hot dog cart.
The idea is to make street food in Vancouver healthier and more varied. A proposal by city councillor Heather Deal would see hot dog carts offering things like fruit and vegetables, locally grown and produced food and more choices to reflect the culture mosaic in Vancouver.
It's modeled after an experiment in New York that saw the spread of fruit and veggie carts into low income neighbourhoods. But when it comes down to a banana or a fully loaded sizzling and savoury bratwurst, what are you going to choose?
Ayla says it depends if she's intoxicated or not. After the bar it's a dog, and after the gym, it's fruit. Tyler is originally from New York and says he'd definitely go for the NY-style tube steak. He asks why would you buy fruit when you can pack an apple with you?
Others say in a city of hot yoga, juice bars and dental spas, we can't afford to give up one of the last bastions of sinfully good, unhealthy snacks. The proposal will be debated by city council next week. http://www.news1130.com/news/local/a...06_090122_6516 |

Is the hot dog good because there's special type of sausage they use or are they using normal sausages with their own special condiments?

anyone try this yet? and what's on it? i will next time i go. | I ordered the Kurobuta... without any additional toppings.. it was very good.. i didn't want to loose the flavour of the pork with too much... so i ahd a bit of mayo and some chili powder on it... =) and just a smudge of ketchup... and it taste great.. i would say it is the second best dog they have.
my choices are
1. terimayo
2. kurobuta
3. miso mayo
i haven't tried the oroshi or wahtever.. will giev it a try next time..
problem with eating japadogs now is that its too cold.. =) hahaha !!! the hotdog cools down too quickly.

I tried out the kurobuta and it was awesome. I had it with a little bit of sauteed onions which was just a perfect complement.
