Anyone ever had a hotdog at Japadog? A Japanese guy runs this hotdog stand at Burrard & Smythe. He has some interesting twists, Japanese style. I had the 'Oroshi' which had grated daikon radish and was garnished with ponzu sauce. It a awesome. Then I had the 'Terimayo' which had teriyaki sauce with Japanese mayo, garnished with nori strips. This was awesome also. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...p/PICT2533.jpg Apparently, Ice Cube is a regular when in Vancouver. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...p/PICT2534.jpg The 'Terimayo.' http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...p/PICT2536.jpg |

The 'street meat' as it is called in Toronto is awesome! When I went to U of T there were woman outside the main building that had the best hotdogs. I think there were roughly 1.50? somthing like that...! In Van, I really like the place outside Futureshop on Broadway... best dogs in Vancouver. I prefer the Kosher hotdogs, which are imported from Montreal.... awesomeness! PLus they make their own buns which are of the best quality! I will try that JApanese one next week though/ |
Someone please find out if this guy has roots in Tokyo or something! I am heading there in a couple weeks, and it would be cool to know where to find a place like this :D |
