where to get hookah stuff
 

anyplace i can get hookah supplies in surrey

not that i know of.

but in richmond, at westminister and minoru...there's an east indian grocer. i saw some hookah bongs in the window, i'mnot sure about the other supplies though.

Tehran Bazaar across from metrotown used to have everything but it seems they've closed down.

There is a speciality smoke shop in abbotsford that has about 20 flavours. They also have some nice charcoal bricks, they burn for a looooong time.

what is "hookah" stuff ..

all i know is the azwah hooka house downtown....its on georgia.....by the burrard station......

from what i know,

its flavored tobacco. east indians smoke it from a fancy looking bong.

its actually a persian thing that was spread throughout the rest of the middle east and india because of the growth (read: magnificance) of the persian empire.;)

just go downtown or gastown, alot of the tobacco shops sell the hooka and parts or coal, if thats what you need. You can also try Yaaz bazaar (?) in north van. One place i can say that sell everything is alpha tobacco on denman (across from the safeway).

bumping this old thread to see if anyone's seen/been to a place in or around surrey that sells hookah stuff.

depends on what you need...
Alot of the sheffield and sons have tobacco (nahkla, and some stuff called Taru) and coal(taru). i can say the one in semiahmoo mall has it.
Someone also pointed out in a previous thread that the mall at 72nd and 152nd (<<i think) has stuff. check out some Halal shops.

Anybody help me with this....I heard two places (alburz shop @ the stripmall across from crystal mall..the one w/ the safeway carries Al fakher tobacco.)...
as well...Jasmine Halal Meats & Mediterranean Foods (at Main and 27th) also carries it....if so, how much for a 50g box? expensive i bet.

--ive been ordering my tobacco from US...and its something everyone should do...its so much cheaper and you get the best stuff...
Havent tried too much fantasia or tangiers...but id say get some Al fakher, and do some mixes #1 is Rose/mint...also try Grape/mint. I found starbuzz to be alright as well..."blue mist"...tried some other flavors, wasn't really getting that strong of taste tho...

as for the hookah bars around vancouver...they're great, but (mostly because of tobacco brands) i find its not worth going for a smoke...u can make it better at home yourself.... so for enjoyment of smoke...going lounge doesn't even come close to making it at home.

however...w/i dt the best place by far is mona's lebanese restaurant. best taste of tobacco and best prices.

ahwaz is good, but last 3 times i went ive had bad experience w/ the tobacco and getting ANY actual taste/thickness of smoke.

And persian tea house is by far the worst....and the price is ~6$ more than everywhere else for a single smoke.
