I think the first fry before panko and batter was done at ultra-high heat. Squab is so thin it would cook way too fast if it was just 375. I'm guessing it was flash fried closer to 425 or 450 and only for a few seconds. Has anybody done chinese yeem gook gai? Is it fried super hot too?
Still scratching my head on the spices though. It's definitely 5-spice and white pepper, garlic powder and powdered ginger? 
I don't know, got stumped after that. Will order again and try again.

For those ondering if CHB is really real, it is. I found it last night but they wouldnt let us in. Asked me who I was friends with so I just started using random popular names like Mike and Chris. They asked for last names so I started using RS usernames... that didnt work either. Felt like an idiot.. ya man, Lomac, Vansterdam and 1990TSI told me about this place 
So ya, I am down for RS meet so you guys can hook me up. The little I saw seemed worth it for a long return trip.

Lol I'm piecing it all together and I'm seeing that this place actually exists or existed at least. Probably shut down a couple times due to popularity and caught on the cops. I'm guessing now it's only a place and location for people who know where it is and will keep their mouths quiet about it.
I need to do some searching....
