Who the fuck is Lana Lang? Sorry

dub.g 12-21-2007 11:05 PM

someone's career is gonna plummet down the toilet

looks like Kristin Kreuk will be working at your local safeway after this movie comes out

gawd... the director of Doom!?

djromanj 12-21-2007 11:56 PM

kristin kreuk is hot, but I don't her looks can carry the movie!

NJMR 12-22-2007 12:07 AM

holy shit, i'd watch that for sure!

bkw 12-22-2007 06:55 AM

haha man this has potential for a decent movie, but i dont know if she is graceful enough to do all this fighting.

i think i remember her fighting in smallville and it wasn't the greatest (i dont remember). you need someone who will kick ass and look good a la zhang ziyi. some actors/actress dont have it in them to potray fighters.

mos_skeeto 12-22-2007 04:56 PM

they should make a cammy movie with kylie minogue and... wait nevermind.

SkinnyPupp 12-22-2007 07:28 PM

She better start doing some squats and working on those thighs!

El Bastardo 12-22-2007 08:37 PM

So what do you think? Better or worse than the Van Damme movie?

A lot has changed over the years.
You can't judge batman based on the previous ones.

Comparing the batman we have now vs. the one in the 90's .. you see a huge difference.

I have faith in this movie.

I had faith until they picked some random white girl to be Chun Li.

StylinRed 12-23-2007 03:40 AM

but u couldnt find a chinese chick to "fill" the role of chun-li

wish they'd find someone who could fill the role tho :/

The7even 12-23-2007 11:57 AM

Yeah I'm a bit sad about that. Lana looks more white than anything.

... she looks nothing like Chun Li. Can't we please just dress up Maggie Q in the outfit and call it a day?
damn yea why not Maggie Q?!?! at least she's been in MI3 and DH4... at least we know she's done SOME martial arts acting...

kristen is cute and innocent... but maggie just screams hotness and seduction (but some ppl dun like her face... so i guess its 50/50 on that, i personally find her attractive)

but wait, then again Maggie Q isn't chinese either: Vietnamese and Irish-American descent. Raised in Hawaii - this mix is still good! :)

illwdt 12-24-2007 03:45 PM

Kelly Hu would be a good one too, on the list!

Kagemusha 12-24-2007 10:31 PM

Oh come on, there's only one person that can play Chun Li...

Jacky Chan! :p

Chun Li doesn't even have to be Chinese. After all, does the original character really look Chinese? no.

But she shouldn't be portrayed by some lame random actress that has never done martial arts before.

well, she doesn't work in too many movies anyway, she takes what she gets

RayBot 12-26-2007 06:52 PM

Hmm...Kristen Kruek....

Apparently she was supposed to have a bigger role in the original script of Xmen 3 as Psylocke...instead was given to some emo chick.

SkinnyPupp 12-26-2007 08:58 PM

Well at least it isn't fucken... ugh what's her name.. the girl with the fucked up face who was in Sin City and Fast & Furious... UGH

Trinity 12-27-2007 09:57 AM

Devon Aoki

SkinnyPupp 12-28-2007 12:02 AM
