The Town 8/10

Affleck is actually a pretty good director I've seen two out of the four he's directed and I enjoyed both of them.

On a side note, has anyone ever watched a movie with someone with Tourettes sitting in front of them? It almost happened to my wife and I at this movie and we couldn't move because the theatre was jam packed. As soon as the credits started he and his friend got up and left, I think I might have fist pumped which was probably uncalled for . I know it's involuntary but that would have totally ruined both our nights, we get a sitter and get to go out together without the kid maybe once every other month.

to tell you the truth, i work with someone with tourette on a weekly basis. I don't know the full story and yes while it would have ruined your experience it's also hard on the dude who's being affected by it. he has no control over it depending on what it is.

I am going to be neutral by it but was it a verbal tourette or a physical.

I know he has no control and I'm sure it's hell for him. It was mostly verbal but he was also jumping forward as well. He was blurting out probably 3-4 times a minute. If the theatre wasn't full I would have just moved. I was more choked at the thought because my wife and I almost never get out and I'm easily distracted. If he didn't leave I probably would have.
