Cabin in the woods 7.2/10

movie wasn't scary (but then I didn't expect it to be), but I liked the way it was directed and the storyline. Kind of a different take on cookie cutter horror movies, reminds me of 13 ghosts in a way.

MI4: Ghost Protocol 5.3/10

Does not live up to the MI series IMO, absolute garbage. Just another shoot em up film with better backdrops. Tom Cruise ruined this one (I think he directed it), effects were cheesy, one liners were cheesy...the whole movie reeked of cheapness and negligence to detail. Had to re-watch MI I/II to get the feel back again.

Stakeland 8.5/10

I'm a sucker for vampire movies, and a sucker for post-apocalyptic/fallout movies. So a VAMPIRE Fallout movie??! FUCK yea! I thought they did this movie great, showing the bands of different civilizations and tribes and character building throughout the entire film. Soundtrack could use some work, IMO, but overall a keeper.

Hop - Too childish for me. Had a couple of laughs but overall more for children. 7/10

21 Jump Street - Went with my girlfriend for our anniversary, left laughing. Recommended 9/10.

Chronicles - 7/10

Not bad.
Its kinda boring at the beginning. Very cool at the end...but ending is kinda too fast.
I was wishing more Powerful or bloody Scenes from "Andrew".
If he does that. I would totally give higher score.

holy crap chronicles was BORING as shit at the beginning like the blaire witch project but once it got past the 1/2 way point, it was epic

if you read wiki, it was filmed in africa + Vancouver.
It could have been a bit better but the middle picked up and totally made up for it.
7/10, totally low budget movie which made a kiling

21 jump street. fuck, it was very fast paced, one thing lead to another and it just kept ocming and no boring points. it was a decent movie i gotta say. 7.5/10

apartment 143 ... started off okay; faster pace than say paranormal activity (same style film) but then just ends up ridiculous you could tell they didnt really know what they wanted to do with it and what they did was silly

but it had its moments

5/10

the departed 9/10
infernal affairs 8/10

the main reason i thought the departed was better because quite frankly the acting is a lot better.

The Avengers.
It's such a fantastic feeling to see an incredible Marvel movie. Pretty much exactly what you expect from a collection of super heroes doing their thing.
9/10

I'm only giving it a 9 because I felt that they could have dived deeper into some character growth and ScarJo had terrible acting on a character that seemed out of place.

Avengers - 9/10

There were couple of minor things that didn't make much sense or they could have done better... but was overall still pretty good
