Gone Girl: 9.5/10

Absolutely loved this movie. Actors were great. Great job adapting this movie. The -0.5 is for the parts omitted from the novel which would have made the actions of the leads much more logical. But this film did the book justice. Would watch (and have watched) many times.

didn't even see the first 2 but this was still pretty entertaining. whole thing was basically all action though. the 3D and visuals looked good.

Good Lie 8/10.. I think it brings attention to Sundan where a lot of Americans might not be aware of.. and having refugees in their midst.

The Interview: 0/10 - Just trash
22 Jump Street: 6/10 - I liked the jokes making fun of sequels but overall it wasn't that great.

It's kind of hard to rate comedies, but there you go

The interview - 5/10 -- watched it after a few drinks and still found it pretty bad, some good one-liners and set-ups though
Dumb and Dumber To - 0/10 -- quit watching about ten mins in, just so bad.

don't know what all the fuss is about, pretty predictable film with an ending that makes you think "that's it?"

The Hundred Foot Journey 10/10 - What a nice film. I haven't heard a thing about it before seeing it.

Corner Gas 6/10 scaled as a "movie" I saw in theaters, but 10/10 as a "corner gas" movie. Seeing it in theaters was worth the time. We used a 2 for 1 valvoline online coupon. There definitely was a cool atmosphere being among other show watchers, calling out answers to trivia, and singing the national anthem together before the film.

Hobbit 5 Armies 8/10 - As expected, but it seemed a bit off from the book... Although I haven't read it in many years, so what do I know.

The Interview 6/10 - Stupid as expected. The first 10 minutes were hilarious.

Maze Runner 7/10 - Good movie for what it was. I didn't expect much of anything. If you want a movie with little to no thinking this is perfect.
