The Nice Guys 8/10

One of the funnier movies I've seen in a while. Had me laughing out loud pretty much all the time!

Captian America: Civil War 8/10 - Tons of action, love the cameo's, diaglog was entertaining. It's exactly what you think it is and it delivers if you accept that fact. SkinnyPupp nailed it with giving it a fairly high review score yet forgoting about 95% of what happened, other than remembering that you were entertained during the movie. My only gripe is sometimes I feel like I'm watching an episode of Friends instead of a superhero movie.

Train to Busan 9/10 regardless of the good reviews here, I was not expecting a Zombie movie of this calibre! Great Job to Korea for showing the US how to make a proper zombie movie!

Conjuring 2.

not bad, it wasn't overdone by stupid shit, good home watch. Good easy watch. For a demon type film it ain't bad for a 7.5/10
was based on a true story. Going to read up on google to see if it's legit.

1 was legit as fuck; wouldn't normally watch the second one but they kept the cast and it's "based on a true story" so i gave it a shot.

Ghostbusters 2/10

I went in expecting the worst, and was still disappointed. It's just one of those shitty CGI shitfests where it just goes from one plot point to the next, until the movie is over. Everything just happens with no threat or question. Team formed, team gets name, they build weapons, get a car, solve the problem, beat the boss, movie ends. What shit.

the only thing that SORT of kept the movie going was Chris Hemsworth; playing the dumb receptionist gave me a few smirks but that was it.

I thought the character was too stupid to even be funny. I get that he's trying to do the non sequitur stupid guy but it came off like he had brain damage and was just sad. It was interesting because we watched Whose Line right after and Ryan Stiles was doing that same bit right after, and it was SO much funnier, we were both laughing out loud.

Only funny parts for me were a few chuckles for the Kate McKinnon character. Nobody else was remotely funny. Melissa McCarthy is NOT funny when she's not taking pratfalls and making fun of being fat and ugly.

I watched 85% of the new Ghostbusters and even after investing that much time I turned it off without seeing the ending because it wasn't worth finishing. What a pile of shit, terrible movie.

Ghostbusters- wish I could get that time back. Other than watching it for the CG, it was not worth the time.

THE BIG SHORT - 10/10

this movie shows exactly why I never went into accounting, finance, or banking when all my friends did coming out of university... re-affirms I made the right choice in life
