Aziz Ansari's latest special on Netflix (Buried Alive?) - 2/10. If I wanted to listen to some half-ignorant wannabe activist ramble I'd go on Tumblr.

focus.. 8/10
not bad... the beginning was legit and had a great beginning
a decent script... but honest, with all the honger movies we see from 王晶, chow yun fat gambler movies.... all these con artist movies are too standard for us.

Boyhood

Solid 8/10. Really enjoyed it but make sure your evening is empty as it's a very long movie haha.

Bhopal: A prayer for rain.

This movie hit really close to the heart for me. I had visited Bhopal, India back in 2012. The effects of this disaster still affect the city. It is slowly growing however you can see the devastation everywhere. I actually unknowingly went through the site of the disaster, before I even knew what happened there then asked what this place used to be, then I was told by a local everything that had happened there, I was shocked however I did not grasp the magnitude at that time until I saw this movie. I just found this movie on Netflix tonight and I had to see it.

you can see parts of the old factory in the back of the second picture.

Star Trek : Edge of Darkness - 3/5

High rating considering I'm not a Star Trek fan.

The Wind Rises - 7/10

With all the jump cuts in time, the movie had a disjointed feel. Couldn't really get into the characters, but the settings were fantastic. The 1923 fire in Tokyo was amazing to see.

Birdman - 7/10

Interesting movie, had my interest the whole time. Hilarious at times. A bit pretentious though.

The cobbler 6/10 I was going into thinking the movie would be horrible but for what it was it wasn't bad on a boring Friday night with nothing on tv. I watched it more for Method Man being the co-star lol

Interstellar - 7.5/10
Great concept and special-effect, characters i thought weren't that well-developed over time or maybe i just didn't like McConaughey

John Wick - 9/10
Really enjoyed it. You can rob a guy, take his car and his money but you never fuck with anyone's dog.

Predestination - 9/10
Mind-blown. Pretty complex for something so seemingly simple. Definitely an underrated movie that delivers.

Gonna see if i have time to squeze in a movie this weekend. I honestly only wanna see Focus cus of Margot Robbie

John Wick - 8.5/10, solid action revenge flick. Good, fun, mindless violence throughout. I'd fuck someone up like that too, if they messed with my dogs.
