3 soaks, 3 washes in a period of 34 months. I barely ever wore them in the summer though since 21oz just feels too much

Wish I could wear denim at work...I should just start wearing them at home haha.

Been with a pair of NF Broken Twill for about a year now and only made a dent in them. Really tempted just to do a wash soon...

if you wanna lighten them up then go ahead, but you wont get the contrasting wear.
yeah its hard if you cant wear jeans at work. i wear jeans every day so i go through denim quick.
consider yourself lucky in a way; at least your wallet is thanking you. mine hates me.

Just wear them at home Rich. I wear mine at home for the 8 hours I'm home because I can't wear jeans to work. My pair is taking forever to break in.

N&F's broken twill has a bit of a waxy feel.. more so than the deep indigo and left hand twill.

I have a pair of each, and oddly enough, the broken twill is taking the longest to wear in. I'm assuming its because of the wax and the smoothness. Whereas the deep indigo and left hand twill are a bit more dry, rugged and rough, so the creases stay with no effort at all.

Really?! I thought I read somewhere they were fast faders. Oh well.

Yea I think I'm going to try wearing them at home now too. Not in bed though, cause these things have gone through its share of spills and messes. Not sure if I want my bacteria infested jeans on my bed lol.

The main reason I want to wash is to prolong their life and avoid blow outs. I'll probably hold off for now as they don't smell or anything.

That's what I thought too. But it looks like NF used more wax on these ones, so you probably have to wear out the wax first.
If you compare the feel of your broken twills to a pair of regular deep indigo, you can tell there's a significant difference.

If you're worried about bacteria, give it a freeze.
If you've been wearing them for so long, a wash shouldn't do any harm.
Blow outs shouldn't be a big problem with N&F.. Their build is pretty damn solid.
Nudies on the other hand, i hear are more susceptible to crotch blows. Still haven't washed mine yet

Has anyone seen the greencasts in person? Are they closer to green or indigo?
