SOLD!
Posted via RS Mobile

Getting new shipment for the new year. Start the new year with new denim . I will be getting New Standards as well this time around, so PM me your sizes and I can keep them for you. I will have both Petite Standards and New Standards. Price is $150 as usual. Many RS members can vouch for me on these jeans

im guessing i missed out on some kind of APC deal? pm me if you still have some deal going on

also, some of the jeans i want, (NF, APC, etc) the opening is a bit too wide for my liking, is it recommended to get them narrowed, or would that ruin the jean?

i like the fit of the nudies fin thinn a lot

I got that pair of APCs from RESN

You can taper the jeans and it shouldn't ruin them at all.

Selvage looks... different. Is it because of the taper?

I brought my N&F to the tailor and brought along another pair of jeans I liked and he narrowed them to match. Didn't ruin them at all!

if you're buying from RESN i suggest you go down 1 size. I went true to size and they've stretched a little bit. However I still have a pretty decent fit..

I would suggest a size or 2. Personally I went down 2 and they still ended up being a bit loose now lol but maybe it's because I biked in them? Who knows

To anyone going to Alberts, call before you get there, because he doesn't always come in on time.

i like hemming these days and got rid of the stacking on some of my jeans.
depends on what look you're going for and what shoes you plan to wear with them.
you really have to answer that question for yourself.

@ calbee. wait till you wear them for a few months and first wash. if there is still lots of stacking, then hem.

I would hem a couple inches and then cuff it an inch. But that's just me. Too much stacking looks awkward imo.

Belts is all up to you.

If you get a natural-leather belt, the more you wear it, the more it will "patina".
That's the before/after of a Naked&Famous belt. Tanner's a popular choice for quality leather too.

Personally I don't care enough to have a fancy belt. I've been rocking a plain black Levi's belt for almost 2 years now lol

a lot of people get natural leather belt.
you can look at corter belts too as a little 'step down' from tanner.

I love it! the tanner goods one looks really good too, but so damn expensive... is it a bad idea to use a natural belt with new raw denim?

i personally hate cuffs so i can't do that. i think i will hem them after a month or so

corter makes nice stuff but i cannot stand the wait time because of the one-man company. i ordered one of the v2 bottle opener/keychain things and got it after 2 months or so..

if anyone is interested in that, let me know, cause i have no use for it anymore
