I need some carb help!
My primaries are definately NOT opening fully, they are sooo close but not quite. I've got all of the slack out of the cable but it's still not opening them further. I'm gonna give it another try and maybe squeek a bit more out of them. I also don't know if my secondaries are opening but it goes pretty good so I assume they are.
On another awsome note the Rex is gonna be getting some very decent exhaust in the near future. Dual 2" all the way back from the header and then into a SS magnaflow dual 2.25"in with single 2.5" out. I'm not totally decided if I want the duals to be the outlet of go for a single outlet. The sing would give a bit more tuned length though.

George should be able to give your carb problems a hand. When I bought my 83 the 12a had a rebuild carb on it.The rebuild kits aren't expensive so the guy before me did it out of good measure. My 83 has a 13b 6-port NA motor from a 85 SE with a weber setup on it.I am running a 2.5" single exhaust setup with a straight pipe section after my header to kill the cat off it.My 84 is getting a full 3" exhaust going under-axle after I get my V-band kit welded to my T04E turbo. I plan to get the welding done next weekend after I find a shop here that does TIG welding.

thx manger =)

Well, decent day for the car. I went for a decent little drive this morning, then I fixed the two idiot lights that were bothering me, the Hatch Light, and the Washer Light. =) The Hatch Light was removed through the tricky UNPLUGGING THE FUCK OUT OF THE SENSOR technique, while the Washer Light required a quick DUMPING THE FUCK MORE FLUID IN. I also added a bit of oil and jacked off onto the apex seals to maintain seal solidarity.

I'm excited about the flywheel! From reading people's reactions to the RB 12lber on the big forum, it sounds like it should be lots of fun.

I'm still looking for a clutch kit. I phoned Lordco, and got the price on the basic ACT kit.

$700.

Haha eat my fuck lordco you fucking whores.

So Mick has a line on an Exedy 40% kit for me for $350, which will be pretty , so that's looking like the best option right now.

After the clutch/fly go in, I'm going to replace the glasspack presilencer with two SS-packed Dynomax bullets, to keep the noise down a little bit.

After that's done, if there's any money left for it, I'm going to pick up a smaller steering wheel to replace the current bus wheel, and some pedals. The pedals will be tricky. I want nice wide ones, for easier heel-toeing, but I don't want the tacky ricey looking ones. Anyone have any ideas on a nice black aftermarket pedal set? Ty says I can have his nice S5 Blue Leather shift knob when he gets something smaller, so that'll be pretty

Oh man. I've got BIG thoughts bouncing around in my head for next winter. teehee.
