1 - Enkei RSF-2 Rim (or buy a set of different rims)

1 - End Link with Ball Joint

1 - ....ummm....forgot the name of this part, think it controls alignment, Tyler may remember the name of it.

So far thats all we know of. Car is parked for now. The rim is still useable but sorta missing a chunk off it. All I can say is FUCK DRIFTING, I'm done (we all know thats bullshit and I will be back but whatever)! Anyways, thats my shitty ass story!

Alright, well weigh scales don't lie and my car ways way less then 2800lbs. Either way whatever.

Gonna copy George's idea here:

Vancouver Street Course Challenge: Stage 1 75% complete.

We started the event with a nice drive off the ferry. I let Tyler pilot the vehicule for the first leg of the course. We rip along the highway at decent pace and arrive to the #1 tunnel, a nice 2nd gear drop at 80km/h and wind out the gears had us pumped with adrenalin. So we make our way to our first destination being navigated perfectly by yours truly. After the car was checked out we continue on with me piloting us to the underground parking lot of the Metrotown mall. With one good planting of my foot I managed to set of 5 car alarms all at once. Then we were off to Langley to see Marco's shop. We make it in record time with a few drifts along the way. There we took our break for the day and talked cars for a while and just hung out. We then hopped back in the chariot and navigate our way back to the other shop. The guy decided NOT to buy my car (which is why we only 75% completed this trip). So we continue on to the ferry's. We arrive back to the tunnel for our #2 run. Another 2nd gear drop later and we are on our way. We are almost back to the ferry's when the red and blue flashing lights in my rear view mirror slowed our pace. The officer was checking why no plates on my car but once he saw the day insurance it was all fine and we were on our way again. We make it back to the ferry terminal just as the 3pm ferry is about to leave and we just made it on. Back on the island by 4:30ish.

Best parts of the day were the tunnel and the underground parking lot with all the car alarms. Very funny and we laughed for quite a while as a bunch of cars whent off.

What happens when you own the S5 with the plastic endlinks :P It shouldn't cost you very much to repair it if you do it yourself. Only thing that would run you most is doing the alignment to get your toe set right and fixing the rim. If you need help with the work and can supply tools/beer i'd help out

Yeah the end link should be cheap. The Tie Rod end I am not sure if it will need replacing or not now actually. But the Rack Rod that is bent I am unsure of the price.

Yeah, we'll probably do the work at Tyler's house when I get the parts all together. I'll let ya know man. And yes there will be beer involved when this job is attemped.

Can you buy a set of metal end links anywhere, Energy Suspension? Plastic is weaksauce.

Have not looked into that yet. The S4 End Links are metal but to use those I would have to swap more then just the end links so would make it way more work. Not sure if there are S5 model links in metal or not.

Yeah the rim is definatly usable, but ugly.

The rest of the car will need some fixing though. Just gotta find a price for a Rack Rod now and I should be set.

Damnit. Just checked the Racing Beat website. They make WICKED adjustable end links.....that DON'T FIT 89-91 MODELS! Damn S4's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And only $64 US. I'd say Jeff and tommy, you guys better get those.

Yeah man, the apartment is AWESOME. We broke her in good last night, too.

My car's a bit quieter now. I went into Lordco and bitched about not getting a silencer with my muffler, and they just gave me one! It took about two seconds to throw on and take off, so I'll be using that to drive daily and then pulling it off for some fun driving at night. =) I'll see how it sounds going uphill out of my new place to see if I need to get any more exhaust work done. I don't LOVE the feel of it silenced, throttle response is a little sluggish and it's definitely not as fast, but it's still better than having the stock manifold on, so whatev. =)

I've got a pretty nice oil leak going out of my OMP, I'm gonna have a look tomorrow and see what needs to be done.

Not totally true. Found out that Mazdatrix sells aftermarket endlinks for S5's, just not Racing Beat. So us S5 guys can get em from there.
