So the subframe is bolted in by the front holes! Too bad it's gonna need about a 1" shim for the rear to sit level, oh well more fabwork for me.

KYB AGX Suspension = PURCHASED!
Yesterday was like Christmas..hehe...brand new never used, got them for $400 total. Still in boxes and still in the plastic wrap inside their boxes. Can't wait to get some springs and install these bad boys.

I e-mailed that site about the Tanabe springs. They said in return that yes the Tanabe springs definatly are for an FC, so I will more then likely be getting those springs for my car. Should be wicked if I can get them.

im just wondering if any one can tell me what the diffrence between an N/A FC and an N/A FD would b. just the engines. becaues im looking into getting an FD but their too expensive if i want a running one. so i figured if i could then pick up and engine from an FC thats got proublems with its body and drop it in the FD's body.i figure i can save at least 5 grand. plus im almost 18 so i know that a running FD even if its N/A would b way too much power for me. no it wouldnt b my first car. an i know i have to pay alot more attention to rotaries than a conventional engine. but theres just something about them.dont get me wrong. i plan to have **AT LEAST** the turbo FD engine if not the Twin turbo eventually.

OR | AGREED.
btw, being 18 how r u able to afford an FD? pretty expensive to buy and then to get them running at optimal rate will put u out some more cash. just wonderin.
u state in ur original post that u would buy an FD then buy an FC with a bad body and switch the motor in. buy doing this u say u could save urself 5 g's. buying 2 cars, switching motor in, tuning it and whatnot -- really think this the cheaper route (if it is a route at all)? better off to just buy the FD and then get a new engine built or whatever.

What could have been a reasonably non-idiotic question was instead turned into a really fucking stupid statement.
There were No N/A FDs. There were no single turbo FDs. Most people convert the FD to single turbo because it makes more power, the stock twin set-up is built for streetability and not much else.
Judging from your post I'd recommend that you buy a civic, mount a huge wing on it, slam it, gets some chrome 17s and call it a day.
Cheers,
Grant (Pissed off at stupid kids with too much money that never search)

Cheers,
Grant (Pissed off at stupid kids with too much money that never search) | first off i dont care for civics. and a front wheel drive car with a wing makes me sick. it was just an idea. im not all that knolagable about cars (especially rotaries) and im not all that rich. it was meant to b a project car for me and my dad to work on. im trying to learn what i can. and i didnt search before i posted what i did.although i should have. and as said before "it was an IDEA."
