Nanaimo RX-7,
yeah...I know its weird but I'm pretty sure that there is no FB. I have a book called Hyper Rev and it shows all of the RX-7 history from Mazda...
I don't know who is right. My book and the people who told ,e could be wrong...

Hey man, gimmie a ring when you get in. I want to go for a ride before the enivitable police intervention. I remember my adventures with a straight pipe, all 3 hours of it before a ticket. You might be louder than I was....we'll see

Straight pipe is legal on the island..its the sound it puts out thats not..
O yea i thought i read that awhile ago but i was wrong ..i think this info is right though FB FC and FD are VIN codes that refer to the 1st (81-85), 2nd (86-91), and 3rd(93+) generation RX-7's (respectively). The 79-80 RX-7 is referred to as an SA22C (or just SA) because that was before the day of the gov't. mandated 17 digit VIN.

hey guys, im in need of a automatic shifter for a first gen Rx. its for a friend in calgary. if anyone knows of a autowreckers or something, or has one themselves. please LMK. this's important, hes trading a shifter and some money for a tranny (which he just blew) i guess the guy hes trading with just put a 460ci engine in a 83 Rx, yes thats right.. 460ci, he raised the front end 2" and i guess it still rubs going over speed bumps. lol. thats the biggest engine ive ever heard of put in a first gen.
anyways. keep me informed. also is the 626 auto shifter the same thing?
thanks |

I often see the red FC at the tennis, skating place. I think that place is owned by UVic but I'm not sure. I'm talking about the place at Gordon Head Rd.

Hahahhahah ahahaha breaking in headers hahaha. No but seriously, it's not going to get any deeper, if there was anything left of your (air quote) muffler (end air quote) it's going to break down in a matter of weeks. Maybe days, depends how the trip to Vic goes. I kinda wish I could go back sometimes, I liked watching people 4 cars ahead rolling up their windows wondering where the hell that fucking chainsaw on crack and steroids was coming from... ahh the good old days.
RX Racer: Thanks for the links, but I think I'm going to keep my Rex N/A. I'd go for a full bridge, but I don't know how it would handle cold mornings, so it will probably end up being an un-godly street port with a RB Dell sitting on top. I figure I need about 3G's and I could finish my car paint and rebuild excluded. Check out the sweet products for first gen suspension setups this guy has. Word is, he really knows his stuff. I want some. http://www.gforceengineering.net/products.htm

You still shoot flames all the time? I lost my decel and shift backfires when I tanked the emissions junk and slapped on an AC&CV block off plate. Now it's only the occasional massive flame. You have any pics of your car? And where are you located? I checked with my mom and she doesn't know where you are, lol. She's waiting. I just saw that you have a 5" tip, my god if we ever get me (4.5"), bcty (massive) and white_fc3s (also huge) in some sort of common area with a video camera.....ahhahahaahhaha we have to do it !!!!! I'm back Oct 6th wohoo. I also just ran into a guy who is willing to sell me his Yaw super street carb pressure regualtor and psi gauge, which would leave me only to buy a carter 7lb pump....mmmm Yaw Power
