A&W Uncle Sirloin Burger. I don't eat at fast food places but this burger is on special for $3 (normally $5.XX). 6/10, it was decent but I wouldn't go out of my way to try it, even @ $3.

Quality is way down during this $3 promotion
Most times I'd see them premade and just sitting there
Goto Harvey's right now - 2 angus burgers for $6

Had the Fondumental as a starter. Cheese fondue was really smooth and packed tons of good flavor. Good assortment of dipping items aside from bread as well.

Curry laksa for the main. Excellent flavors again. Lots of seafood, mushrooms and nice pieces of bbq duck. Only gripe I had were the tofu puffs (or maybe they were rice puffs, not exactly sure) melted into the broth as I ate and turned into a sludge near the end. Next time I order this I would just ask for them not to be included.

Had the Hot Chocolate Chili Pot for dessert. This was probably the highlight of the meal. Not extremely sweet, and a great kick of spice near the end.

Service was fantastic as well, making up for the hour wait for a table.

9/10
i never knew laksa came with bbq duck...o.o

Nick's Spaghetti House, 6/10. Pasta wasn't drained well, so there was a puddle of diluted meat sauce on the plate. Sauce was good though, and the meatballs were amazing. The ribs were very tender. HUGE portions, like Anton's.

Combo Plate, with spaghetti, meat ravioli with meat sauce, huge meatballs, and ribs.

La Casa Del Formaggio, 9/10. Mortadella sandwich, big, but not obnoxiously big like some places. Just right for me.

My home cookin'. 10/10. Linguini with cream sauce. I added 1/2 pound of Nanuk cold smoked Sockeye Salmon and the meat of 1 whole Dungeness Crab, with capers & lots of fresh dill. Turned out quite nice!

La Casa Gelato. 1,000,000/10. 1 scoop Cherimoya (a very refreshing South American fruit) & 1 scoop Kahlua on a waffle cone. No, I did not try the Guiness sorbetto...

Tama Sushi Express inside the T&T in Surrey.

Service was kind of slow, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. I had the katsu-don, my brother had the beef-don, and my mom had the bento box. All three meals were 10% off because the sushi chef was on vacation. They have the plastic food displays, and the food was a dead ringer for it. Taste was pretty awesome too, nothing tasted "synthetic" and it was pretty filling.

9/10.

Not food but coffee @ the coffee shop directly across from Joyce Skytrian station. Horrible coffee, tastes like coffee made with previously used beans LOL. Never going back!

Really? Have they improved lately? I've been there 3 times now, and it was mediocre, but my last time was about a year ago.
