Cockney Kings Fish & Chips (Burnaby - 6500 Hastings Street)

Monday to Wednesday all you can eat Fish & Chips includes obviously the Fish and Chips but also has bottomless pop.

For $9.50 for both lunch and dinner times, it is definitely worth going. Went there and the Fish & Chips were fresh and hot. I don't think I could have asked for more in terms of food. Service though is entirely different.

Ambiance is lacking too but at $9.50 for all you can eat that serves qualify fish and chips, I'm not complaining. Again, service isn't the best.

I would rate it a solid 8/10 with service and about an 8.5-9/10 for just food alone.

i been going there for the past straight 15 years

great fish and chips

however i never been to their all you can eat as i find that usually i spend about $10 bux and i will be fairly full already

1 fish, fries, some oysters, shirmps etc plus gravy and a drink usually about $10 bux ish

So for me there is no need for AYCE

The place (or at least area) looks hella shady though but it does get busy.
Pretty cheap, with all day menu for $6.50 honger food.

8/10.

For fucksakes, Mugen.

With the amount of time you spend on RS, I'd expect you know how to use it a little more.

i love cockneys. the service is usually not too big of an issue for me. for an ayce fish and chip place, the quality is still quite high. both the fish and the chips are perfectly fried each time and aren't battered to hell which is nice.

went to Le Crocodile
been a while since last visit..
a bit disappointing as expectation was high from last visit.
Service was slower than expected and the food wasn't as great as it used to be..

I just went there today...

Didn't read your post in time though. Maybe next time.

They are lightly battered so there isn't a ridiculous amount. It is very hot and fresh and you have to eat slowly. Otherwise, you'll look dumb and burn yourself. Not to mention your stomach will hate you as well.

The lounge at caprice actually makes a pretty stellar fish and chips. Ever since they revamped the menu and changed chefs, the food is good. The pulled pork poutine is fucking awesome too.
