I'm sorry, you found a hair in your steak and she gave you another with no hair in it. Albeit a little "marbly", and you're NEVER going back again because she didn't make it complimentary? Maybe it's just the way i was raised, but I would never be like I didn't fully enjoy my meal, make it free please.

At the restaurant I work in, I see people day in and day out just ask for meals to be free simply because they ordered a certain dish, and when it comes to them, it was different from their expectations. Some guy ordered a chicken tagliatelle and when it came he got pissed because he didn't know tagliatelle was pasta.

That wasn't the point. My point was that she was trying to blame it on me as I would have put it there because she doesn't go in the kitchen.
I ordered a meal. I didn't order hair in my meal. It's a sanitary issue, so why should I pay for a dish that was not properly looked after.

It could have been a hair, a finger nail, or rat crap... It's not supposed to be in the food.

decided to take my family out for french food. owned and operated by a french couple. the menu is rich with unique meats and deserts. my fam ordered duck, lamb, rabbit, and rib eye.
the duck was delish. nice cranberry sauce.
the rabbit was chewy. not my choice.
the lamb was decent... much better in greek restaurants.

now. i ordered the rib eye because i wanted some steak.
its fairly decent size for steak. comes with a few veggies and some sauce.
id rate it 7/10.

heres the best part. i found a hair going from the sauce onto the veggies.
i have short hair and my gf has really long hair. this was something in between.
so i was being polite and didnt want to make a scene. went up to the waitress and quietly told her. she apologized and took the dish away.

here is the best part. she comes back with another steak and says, "the hair wasnt mine since i do not work in the kitchen"
that about killed it for me. i dont give a shit if its your hair, i found hair in my dish.

anyways, mistakes happen, i let it go. i examined my new steak and found nothing wrong. it was too marbly for my liking so i barely finished it.

we got some drinks and desert. the bill came out to 209 between 4 people.

and she still charged me for the steak. i couldnt believe it.

never going again. i never had a time where myself or anyone i knew was charged for a meal they did not enjoy or found something wrong with. this is not how you keep people coming back.

desert 8/10
food 6/10 best dish was the duck.
customer service was at 9/10 then dropped to 1/10.
never going there again.
It's on marine right?

Went to nao sushi because sushi garden had a lineup past the door lmao...
This place has seriously gone downhill, bill came to $28/person after tax + tips

They replaced the cucumbers most places use with lettuce and it tastes like crap. Also not enough sushi rice on both nigiri and rolls. Beef teriyaki was dry and had a very strong sesame taste.

Not impressed by the food and won't be coming back

service 7/10
food 3/10

$14 - 2 person amount

$19 - 2 piece of thighs and great sauce & mash potato

$13 - Daily special, good amount of good quality mussels plus lamb crumbs & shreded fries.

Flying Pig @ Yaletown

Extremely hot waitresses
Good atmosphere, price, and food.

Expensive parking meter
We waited for 50 mins for our food to come. The waitress told us that shes extremely sorry that she didn't tell us my chicken will take a longer time to make. She did supplied us with bread which I believe it wasn't complimentary.

8.5/10

Laksa soup with chicken ball and brisket, potato noodles

8.5/10 only because place is pretty small and it took 40 minutes to get a seat.
