Good place for hemming jeans

I got a few pairs of RRs and TRs that needs to be hemmed. Anyone recommend a good place for this?

aznorris 06-19-2008 10:36 AM

stitch international metrotown.Pick up in the same day

miss_crayon 06-19-2008 12:26 PM

make it fit in lougheed mall
they do all my jeans (trs, r&rs, sevens etc) and i've always been satisfied

djm 06-19-2008 03:10 PM

how about for pants? no special euro/original hem.. just good tailor (measuring/cutting.. who to ask for?) & cheap prices

Inaii 06-19-2008 04:04 PM

Stitch International is about $6+tax (or at least they were last time I was there).

The place in Lougheed is about the same. The lady there gets bitchy though (in my experience) if you want same day service.

Brentwood has a good place.

ChiGGs 06-22-2008 05:26 PM

The asian guy inside the Levis Jeans store in Metro did a good job hemming my dress pants. Quick and cheap. First time there though...

TRDood 06-22-2008 06:13 PM

stitches @ metro = $14.70 for original hem
it's a rip, but they do a good job!

Whoa, when did they change the price? =o It used to be $6!

And I meant Brentwood, not lougheed in my previous post

TRDood 06-22-2008 07:15 PM

Cosign that. I got my RnR's done there, they look perfect. gonna bring my TR's and all my other jeans over there from now on

original hem is $15 btw, not $6. And I had to wait 2 days for them before I could pick them up

regardless though, very nice quality work

JLC 07-05-2008 03:48 PM

if ur in downtown, the Stitch in PC is great...the lady there is nice...and they do a good job...

revcarmen 08-01-2008 02:59 AM

even more important..

i'll tell you where NOT to get them hemmed, that korean place opposite little tea house in metrotown near superstore. they're sooo careless and unprofessional.

beanzzz 08-01-2008 09:36 AM

stitch international in metrotown. had two pairs of R&R and two pairs of William Rast done, and only took a day.

POPTRUNK 08-22-2008 12:01 AM

oakridge store

BlackV62K2 09-04-2008 07:40 PM

Had 4 pairs done @ Stitch International in Metrotown. Top notch work, my jeans came back really nice. Had 1 normal hem, 2 original and 1 "Boysco" hem. The Boysco hem was for my TR Super T. Yeah, a bit on the expensive side but I rather pay a little more knowing the quality of work is going to be good than to cheap out and have someone f-up my expensive jeans.

nosleepboy87 09-04-2008 08:43 PM

wats boysco hem?
