Need some help finding an artist. I'm looking to get a phoenix half sleeve but I have no idea who to go to. The style i'm looking for is like jeff tam's/ winson tsai's ( Winson Tsai Instagram photos @wt_tattoo - EnjoyGram). I would go to Jeff but I am not a big fan of his phoenix's. Help please!

^ yeah winson tsai's art is the reason how I finalized my decision on getting a phoenix. beautiful work !! was not a fan of jeffs either and I didn't want to wait for like a year or so to get mine done. went to blackwater to get it done. his phoenix is different but im still very satisfied with the outcome of it

Hugely impressed with Sam's work. I've been following her on instagram etc for a while. Guess it's going to be a Calgary trip when I get my finger out my arse and finalise a half sleeve idea. Do you know if she plans on being back in Van very often after she moves? Quote:

She will be coming back once and a while but those appointments will only be for her established clients. If you want work done by her best bet would be to take a road trip to Calgary.

so it has come to my attention that a guest artist from Japan with amazing work (Katsu) will be coming as a guest artist at Monkey King tattoo oct4-nov 2. rates are 200/hr

Looks pretty awesome. I really love Japanese tattoos, but as I said before, it just looks too fuckin weird on a white guy covered in new school stuff for me to ever be able to get any. I'm left to admire from afar.
