so planning to try 24 7...how big is it?...is it just as big as the picture?

Wonder what will happen when it gets overflowing with packages and not enough lockers to store them in

It's as big as the picture, but they will be expanding. People are usually great with packages, and pick them up within the week they are delivered. They tack on a storage fee per day if your package is a week old.

The amount of people who are saying "boarder" in this thread astounds me. And this is coming from RS grammar nazis who ostracize fellows who say "your" instead of "you're".

Typical Saturday mornings.

Regular line is 45+ minutes
Nexus lane is about 20+ minutes

I went down this afternoon at 4:15 - wanted to wait till TSB and TLC closed. PR Shell has regular pickup till 5, or if you email them, you can pickup till 6. Waited a few minutes going either direction, using my nexus card for the first time.

when I picked up on Sat I asked them whats up..and they told me they only have one big storage room and I'd have to wait in a queue if I wanted to pick up on my own time?..lol wtf..

my package is mayb the size of a 24inch monitor btw...

^You can't fit a 24 inch monitor in their standard sized pick up boxes. And they can't have multiple people using the big storage room or else your stuff might get jacked and that wouldn't be fun. For what its worth, 24/7 is light years ahead of Hagens/all the mickey mousey pick up centers in PR. +1 for a Canadian owned business as well.

Well I guess that kind of makes sense as there is no locker to accommodate for that size. And they probably don't have enough room at the moment to have enough big rooms to store packages individually for each package that gets sent there.

@cctw..

I'd hardly consider that as them "starting to have issues" when it's clearly stated on their website... Seems as though your package is just slightly too large...

Our largest automated locker size is 25" x 25" x 19". If your parcel does not fit in the automated locker system, the parcel will be placed on the shelves, and we will send you an email/SMS notification, informing you that you need to pick it up during staffed hours with a photo ID.

Seems like they only have 1 or 2 of the big room / locker?

Would make sense for them if they had more of it.

Quick question for those of you that cross frequently
I usually go on a weekday around 9am-10am and the border is like a 10 minute wait MAX (My favorite time to go)

BUT I'm working tommorow so

Have any of you ever gone around 4 pm on a week day? How is the wait around that time?

thanks

Weekdays have close to zero waits. Literally no cars at around 530-6pm. Coming back too.

I get off at 430pm in Downtown and can get there by 540-6pm depending on traffic. Usually get into the tunnel by 520-530pm.

there maybe no border wait time in the afternoon but you will be stuck getting back to the tunnel.

well..thing is..when you order something...you don't really know the exact dimensions of the box the vendor uses...and I by no means ordered anything huge..just two jackets...
just didn't seem to make sense to have only one big storage room in the whole facility..

guess I'll be making Saturday morning trips from now on..

honestly, 25" isn't very big. It doesn't take much for a box to be too long/wide to fit in those lockers.

My friend has asked them nicely, and I think they should be able to open your package and place it without the box into the locker if you ask them... unless you don't want they to see your leather S&M Jackets.

lol I'd blame the shipper for putting it in a huge box. I've had hockey pants shoved into a 12x12" box before. I thought it was child size but it was they managed to fit it in somehow.

So just to make sure, since the OP was like 4 years ago.

To get things shipped to TSB Shipping all I have to do is register, buy my item using the TSB address, wait for it to come in, receive an email, drive down to PR with I.D. pay the parcel receiving fee and leave?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, just don't forget your passport and a copy of the receipt (email print out). It makes getting through the US border a lot easier. The receipt can also be used to claim the value of your goods on your way back (Recommended) if not, they will value it at the border which usually much higher.

Make sure you have your invoice or receipt with you when you cross, dont rely on the sender to include a copy in your package.

One time I didn't print one out, the agent made me drove back to the store to print her a copy.
