Picked up this plaid trench a couple weeks ago from BR for 60% off during their 30% outerwear + 30% donate a sweater sale. Warm enough for my walk to work.

what do you guys think? for like $600... what if it was cheaper? would you still get it?

like it or hate it?

It's fake.

99% of Moncler stuff on eBay is fake and I wouldn't purchase any designer items from countries like Bulgaria because most of the EU countries in that region produce and sell counterfeit designer goods which feed Eastern European crime syndicates.

I need a winter parka/jacket for a winter in Edmonton..

I'm thinking Canada Goose or Northface...From what I've read online from reviews is that you can't go wrong with Canada Goose...don't know if I want to shell out the cash for one...

I was thinking one of these Northface jackets:

http://www.sportchek.ca/family/index...goryId=3870704

Particularily the North Face McMurdo Down Insulated Jacket Mens (#399.99), although the The North Face Vostok Down Insulated Jacket Mens ($450) looks a bit longer..

For -20-40 weather I want something that comes down to just above the knees..

Anyone have experience with these jackets or suggestions for a good winter parka/jacket?

I bought the McMurdo Jacket last year, it was perfect for -20 weather (used in toronto/montreal last january) but the jacket i felt was VERY HEAVY.

please go try it on and walk around the store if you actually buy it.

Yup getting cold here in Edmonton..was -17 with the windchill..

I never had a winter jacket in Vancouver last year.

SoI went to the mall and I tried on the McMurdo..and while i know it would keep me warm...you're right..it is way TOO HEAVY and BULKY.

I think the best bet is to buy something lighter and just layor urself..

I'm leaning towards this jacket right now

Bought this from RevolveClothing, Spiewak "The Wilson" Peacoat in Black

Does anyone know how these jackets fit? I bought a small, because it seems very large!

Hopefully it fits!
