Mens face wash,

Looking for a a face wash for men right now i have biotherm face wash/exfoilater and bio therm aqua power moisturizer. I want to try something new, is Vichy face products better or neutrogena products better? neutrogena is pretty cheap in price compared to biotherm and vichy products. $10 vs $20-30. Only interested in those 3 brands because thats all they have at shoppers.

Believe it or not, Gatsby has good face washes... Black Mega Scrub and Deep Mud Foam is a good combo to use during the week. Should be about $8 each online, but you probably don't want to shop there...

SkinnyPupp 09-30-2008 07:59 PM

Cetaphil is for people with severe skin conditions.. rosacea, wounds, severe acne, etc. I don't know why you would use it under normal circumstances.

hahah yahhh

^the reason its good for people w/ problem skin is because its so gentle on the skin unlike most soaps. i know tons of people who use it as a daily facewash that dont have any problems w/ their skin

-"Cetaphil is so gentle, it is recommended by dermatologists for everyday skin, or even as part of a regime for skin in need of medication."

its not meant to treat skin conditions, its just safe to use for ppl who have them.

I use tea tree oil from the body shop, it was like 13 bux or something like that

nosleepboy87 10-02-2008 01:21 PM

i use laniege from korea. i use to use biotherm but wanted to try something new
believe it or not, vichy is very similar to biotherm as far as how well i works, they are owned by loreal group,
personal opinion i think vichy is better than neutrogena
get some samples and try em all out :D

The point being, if you don't have one of these conditions there's no reason to use it.

Finally... :lol

What_the? 10-03-2008 12:37 AM

cetaphil is used for anyone... it's mild enough to be used on people even with those skin conditions named above...

whereas other cleansers may irritate the skin with the fragrances or strong cleansers, etc...

i highly recommend things like spectro jel and cetaphil (both also available at shoppers), because really they will do the job, and not harm your skin and also not be as overpriced as that vichy or biotherm etc stuff

Marco911 10-04-2008 03:34 PM

I use spectro gel, it is even less harsh than Cetaphil.

No way, I've used both and I found Spectro Gel to be a lot more drying than Cetaphil.

Spectro Gel made my skin a lot worse when my mom recommended it. Cetaphil is much better as it smoothes your skin. Spectro just made my skin crack all out.... gah

Ducdesmo 10-09-2008 08:34 AM

I also highly vouche for Spectro Gel/Cetaphil.

jakz0rz 11-12-2008 03:02 PM

I agree that spectro is more harsh than cetaphil

I've tried

zirh, anthony logistics, menscience, biotherm, vichy, as well. I think shoppers carries some of those brands, depends which shoppers you go to.
zirh is the most harsh of all those.

The menscience isn't working that well for me, so if anyone wants to buy it cheap, PM me. Ive used less than 25% of it.

vvind 11-16-2008 01:58 PM

im thinking of going out to buy cetaphil, cause i am using olay deep cleansing face wash, and it drys up my skin and isnt doing too well.. I read cetaphil reviews and it seems like a trusting product. I should go buy a cetaphil to try? and also wwould i realy need a moisturizer for after using the cetaphil? If so, which moisturizer would be good to use with cetaphil?

thanks
