Tim Horton's doesn't want you to stay. Max seating limit 30 minutes. Eat and leave. Therefore, no wifi.

My coffee cost the same this morning as it has every morning for the last year, $1.53. Either they just raised the price on french vanilla's or you got served.

I found it annoying when they bumped the price of the double double a year or so back. It used to be under $1.50, so it was easy to grab change. Now it's $1.53 and for some reason I'm always missing the $0.03. Grr.
Oh well, still a great value imo.

OK, I would. Quote:

Kev | Exactly. What irks me is that they always turn off the PayPass receiver at the ones I go to, and it's so much quicker (and cooler!) to pay with that. I asked once why it was turned off and they said that people thought it was scary and insecure. Luddites! |

hmm......
semi off topic but, anyone been to the lougheed mall tim hourtons? it is hands down THE WORST tim hourtons location EVER.
its such a POS. ive gone there about 6 times
every time, something goes wrong
they get my order wrong every f*cking time.
they screw up the recipes or something and the soups always taste like shiiiiiit
they totally rip you off on the portions. they always underpour the soups there.
they often have only 4 selections of donuts because they run out and dont remake them timely.
every single time, im thinking "what the heck, ill give them another go. im sure i only ran into bad luck the previous 6 times"
and they just always let me down

When their suppliers increase the cost of their goods, the company has to raise the cost of their products too.
You don't see a rise in prices at certain places for a long time because they usually have a contract with their suppliers to buy the goods at a set price for a certain amount of time.
And it's only 0.06.

Then there's normal inflation, the changing ways of measuring inflation, the economic impact of immigration, stagflation, monetary policy, supply and demand.... |
