you guys should check out www.betfair.com, basically its a sports betting site, that allows you to bet against other people, so you are setting the odds yourself, and someone chooses to accept or not... and same thing spreads... its good if you know your stuff, there are a lot of clowns out there that do really stupid things... so its a really good site to check out... i've been on it, for about 2 months now... and just placing single game bets once a week, i'm up about 600 or so...

he's not saying arizona will win, but he thinks they can cover the 6.5 point spread. I personally wouldn't be surprised arizona wins outright. They've been proving everyone wrong this postseason. Most recently beating the league's third ranked defense but im not all that convinced yet so i'll take the points haha

That is usually true but anything can happen. Superbowl 34 the (10-6) St. Louis Rams with the 31st ranked defense (worst in the NFL) beat the (13-3) Tennesse Titans who's defense was ranked 2nd in the league. Starting QB, none other then Kurt Warner.

I think you obviously have to give the edge to Pitsburgh but Arizona has been bucking trends and the odds all playoffs long. The Patriots were suppose to steam roll the Giants last year as well which is why they play the games.

How does a tie work for hockey then? Is a game that goes to OT/Shootout considered a tie?

Shootouts are considered ties. In playoff hockey, just going into OT is a tie.

lol.. thats right..
I would not be too surprised if Arizona wins outright as well.
I defintely will play the money line.
I heard some sites had the line at 7.5
That would have been great value.

If Arizona didnt play so crappy in the last 2nd half against Phili, Id be all over Arizona..
Pitts is considerably allot better than Phili too.
But Pitts almost choked and could have lost the game against Baltimore....
Troy Polimalu has to be the best safety in the NFL right now.
Hines Ward may be out. Doubt it.. Im sure the knee injury will somehow slow him down.
Roth is one hit from enjoying the game on a stretcher.
Pitts Defence is disgustingly good..
Fitzgerald.... yeah... hes that good... I think hes cheating..

The right play would be Pitts.
But Im fairly sure I will go against the grain and take Arizona...
Just want the line to be +7

hmmmm...
decisions..decisions.......

Good thing we have 2 weeks to hammer this out.

yea i totally agree with that, i was heartbroken last year when the patriots lost, and yea they were favoured like crazy. i just dont see it happening twice in a row where an underdog the stature of the giants/cardinals win superbowls again and again, this thread aint about the nfl unfortunately so i'll have to give my 2 cents, most likely ill have some money on pittsburgh if i do end up betting on this game

i feel safer betting on the NBA, becuz the powerhouse will always be powerhouse..
where as hockey, one hot goaltender can fail..(Luongo vs PHX/CBJ)

For anybody interested...Cleveland is being given 3.0 on odds. They're a 35-8 team playing in Orlando who are 34-10. A bet some people might be interested in. I'm going to put a bit of money on it, even though Orlando is good at home.
