I have a small tattoo, my uncle is a tattooist so I get all my work done for free. But even so, I prefer them to have meaning, and as such, only have my small memorial one.

HAHAHAHA fuck that made me laugh so hard. Ya i agree with most people here. For a girl I'm serious about, tatts are a turn off. I don't mind little ones like on the wrist or hip or ankle. But tramp stamps, arm, back, chest tatts are a big turn off. For me I wouldn't getting a tatt unless it was in memory or to commemorate something big in my life and even then.. It'd have to be in pretty fucking good taste. I wouldn't want my nurse to be snickering behind my back when shes giving me a sponge bath, laughing at the lame tribal pattern on my back when I'm 95 years old.

I'm tempted to give you points for this, but I suppose you're entitled to your own opinion, no matter how stupid it is

My friends BF went to Mexico, when he came back, he had one of those fake, yet realistic looking tattoos of her name on his chest....her reaction was pretty fucking funny.

As long as it's meaningful and not overdone. When I see guys with a full sleeve/whole back/whole legs done.. I automatically judge them (even though I have tattoos of my own)

And please no dragons/tigers/whatever unless it actually means something

none on my arms though
Here what sum things u did wrong
#1 asking for girl's advice on rs
#2 asking other people's advice if its cool to get such and such tattoo

if you ask anybody doesn't matter guy or girl if they think the tattoo is cool before you get one, dunt get a tattoo. You and you alone should be the only one deciding what to get tattooed permanently on ur body. The only other person's advice you need to consider is your tattoo artist's on things like placement.

ive been wanting to get a tatty for about a year now and since then i have asked people on RS and my friends and such... and in the end its what you want... its on your body so who cares what people think. i say get something you will not regret down the road in like 5 or 10 years... dont just get a "cool" design because its "cool"

From all the people i talk to or know, tattooing their Chinese name on their body is probably the most popular choice.

personally get what you want, the only people i feel a need to impress or not piss off are my parents.

I myself have 3 tattoo's.. to small ones on the arm and a big one across my back (24 square inches of ink) i've always been a tribal fan since I was a little kid so all mine are tribal.. i like it, so be it.. but.. i design all my own tattoo's.. each one has a meaning, and each curve/arc has a specific meaning.

Virgin skin ftw!
my moms maiden name is dragon, all my cousins share that name...but my mom being a woman got married and i took on a different last name

all my male cousins (about 6 who are legal age) all rock the same dragon tattoo on their right shoulder blade.

as for me, i plan on getting something similar to this

on my shoulder blades im having a male angel kneeling with head down pryaing, other side another angel, hands in the air offering while crying, and under them on my back having st micheal slaying the devil and going around my ribs having the other saints.
