Looking for a compact pick-up under 13k

Well I can't drive my nissan everyday and I need a parts truck. 13k is my limit, I was doing a little digging and a 2003 ford ranger fx4 looks right for me, why? I want a 4x4, small, cheap and the reviews are above avg.

Anyone here owns a small 4x4 or anybody with a great info on the subject would be great. Thx

nothing beats a ford ranger for that price range. you can beat the shit out of a ranger, not change its oil for 60,000 kms, overload it so much that the tail pipe bends and burns through the mudflaps, and the list goes on and it'll still run strong!!
