The way to do it is have a meet the same time and place everyweek then peeps will start hearing about these things, not all petrol heads are on forums.

It was decently successful, but after some turmoil on the forums, a large number of the members left and started their own forum.

I'd show up to the meets if I actually knew more then 5 people were gonna be there... lol. Realistically, meet signup starts, gets to like 30+. Ppl are pumped. I'm pumped, but don't put my name on the list. Meet day shows, I know no one showed so I don't show. Read the next day that it was basically 4 people hanging out cause everyone else on the list that said they'd come bail like they always do. Some of us are coming from a long ways out(over 1.5 hours for me), I'm NOT comnig to a meet that I KNOW people will not show up to, otherwise I would.  I enjoy meets... actual meets.
