What happened to the little icon showing you posted in the thread?

Is there a way you can bring the little icon showing that you posted in a thread, back? Or why was it removed?

I still have it, are you usign Firefox? seems to be some compatibility issues. Opera is good right now.

RFlush 01-21-2009 08:25 PM

Using chrome.... hmm

Im talking about the icons on the right of the subject and left of the poster name

Lomac 01-21-2009 10:10 PM

:lol

Adjust your Adblock to prevent blocking those icons. ;)

RFlush 01-21-2009 10:25 PM

Chrome doesn't have adblock....or any ad blocking software.

RFlush 01-22-2009 03:30 PM

I am talking about the icons that state 'you have been subscribed to this thread'. I still have them on my other forums, just not for RS

Heh that would be funny if Google's browser blocked google's ads :)

SkinnyPupp 01-22-2009 09:15 PM

It was removed because 98% of the posts made left this blank (I checked). Most people use Quick Reply, which doesn't support them anyway, and while creating a thread most people don't bother choosing an icon.

Removing them will allow us to be able to remove the column that displays them when you view a forum or search. This makes up for some of the horizontal space that is taken up by the AwesomeBar.

Oops, you're referring to something else. The "Arrow" icons are all still there.

Hmm, how come I am not seeing them? Any suggestions? With chrome and firefox I can't see them (this icon: http://img.geoexpat.com/forum/images...subscribed.gif) but not sure why. Other forums I can see perfectly. Am I not subscribed? In the User CP it shows I am.

Are you running any scripts like an ad blocker?

None sir. Using Chrome and they don't have any ad blocking software. Like I said, I can see them perfectly for all other VB forums, with both Chrome and Firefox.

Well I use Chrome too, and it's working for me. And the remaining 50,000 members here are not having problems either. Sorry I can't help

I even went so far as to downgrade my work IE to 6.0.9 and it's still fine. Perhaps a reinstall of your browser, or master reset on your settings.

I see them still though.

Common sense says that you should stop smoking so much pot to alleviate this issue.
