Long Distance Towing Service

Does anyone have or know of a hookup for a flatbed truck? For towing from California to here...?

Thanks in advance...

you need to get in touch with a freight/truck service. No flat truck will tow a car from Cali to Van.

Might be cheaper to find a car freight service like this that will haul it to Bellingham or Blaine. Then you can import the car yourself saving yourself a bit of money. (assuming that you're trying to import it)

I used Federal Towing (which you can find in the Yellow Pages) to haul my 78 Alfa Romeo from Los Angeles to Blaine last summer.

I found them on uShip.com. I accepted the bid for $900 but due to over 3 weeks in delays due to staffing shortages, I ended up paying $600 which is super cheap. The owner, Matt, is pretty nice and accomodating. The best part is that his trucks will load your car onto either a trailer or a flatbed which is enclosed - normally a premium to be paid at a high cost but Matt's pretty good with his prices. Seeing that it's down-season, you might get a good rate. Give them a try!

Bump.

To follow up with my response above, FYI, Federal Towing has gone AWOL. Please read this article - Vancouver Truck Driver Caught Hauling Drugs.
