TMNT and XMEX were the pinnacle of my cartoon days. I still find myself passing a few hungover hours on a sunday, watching a TMNT or two, if switching channels hurts too much.

And the cartoons you grew up with are crap compared to the ones I grew up with.

Maybe in 10 years there will be no cartoons at all

You see the problem here is we're getting old. It's always the way, "back in my day cartoons were the best, now they suck! We had the best cartoons EVER!!", but the generation before us was saying the same crap about our cartoons "Oh man, Yogie Bear was awesome, he man is stupid! We had the best cartoons...", and then the current generation will be saying "Oh man, our cartoons were the best! Dora the explorer was wicked, the new cartoons suck so bad!".

It's just the facts of getting old.

But for me growing up, these were my top cartoons: Transformers, He-Man, TMNT.

Also watched duck tales too... but only on Sunday when nothing else was on.

The problem is they took the violence away.
Transformers and GIGoe were great. Thundercats was good too. Did they have a cartoon for MASK?

That was my era too.

I also notice that print cartoons suck balls. Far side was awesome. Calvin and Hobbes was not bad but preachy at times, Dilbert was later and was sometimes funny.

Nothing today is at all amusing. Sadly Pooch Cafe is probably the best thing going.
